The reporter learned from the Ministry of Public Security that on the morning of April 13, as two Chinese civil aviation chartered planes landed at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport in Hubei Province, the first batch of 130 Chinese criminal suspects involved in gambling and fraud were escorted back to China from Cambodia by our public security organs. This is the first batch of repatriation and escort missions organized by the Chinese and Cambodian police since the beginning of this year, and it has opened the curtain on the joint crackdown on illegal crimes involving gambling and fraud by the police of the two countries.

In recent years, in order to crack down on prominent crimes such as cross-border gambling and telecommunications network fraud in accordance with the law, the Chinese and Cambodian police have worked closely and fully together to continuously deepen the crackdown and achieved a series of remarkable results. On the basis of the previous work, in accordance with the national deployment of the work of cracking down on cross-border gambling, our public security organs and the Cambodian police recently organized a joint operation to crack down on illegal crimes involving gambling and fraud. During the operation, the Cambodian police smashed a number of gambling and fraud dens in Sihanoukville, arrested a large number of Chinese criminal suspects, and seized a number of servers, computers, mobile phones and other tools involved in the crime. Under the command of the Ministry of Public Security, the Hubei public security organs sent a working group to Cambodia to carry out repatriation and escort work together with the Cambodian police.
