"Diversion of water into bamboo" is a provincial and municipal key livelihood project and a major development project, the water source comes from the Ba River and Zhou River, a tributary of the Qujiang River, through the Lianhua Lake Water Plant in Dazhou City, all the way south to Dazhu County, with a total length of 80.3 kilometers of water pipelines.
The Dazhou section of the "water diversion into bamboo" project is one of the two backbone projects of water diversion into bamboo, starting from Dazhou Lianhuahu Water Plant and ending at the junction of Dachuan District and Dazhu, with 38.56 kilometers of new water transmission and distribution pipelines, supporting a new water purification plant with a daily treatment capacity of 75,000 cubic meters per day, and 1 intermediate pressurized pumping station, with a total investment of 408 million yuan, and construction will start in June 2023.
According to reports, the plant area automatic control, plant technology, off-site water pipeline Lianhua Lake Water Plant to Dazhu County boundary, dispatching center, as well as Baijie halfway pumping station, water tunnel, emergency dosing room, pre-sedimentation flocculation sedimentation tank, water distribution well, flow and pressure regulation room, V-shaped filter, clear water pool, etc., a total of 18 individual projects, by Dazhou Water Group is responsible for the construction.
Among them, the construction area of the water purification plant of the first phase and the second phase of the Lianhua Lake Water Plant and the supporting pipe network project is 8,427 square meters, the off-site water pipeline is about 38 kilometers installed, and one midway pressurization station is built in Baijie, and a 1,305-meter-long pipeline water transmission tunnel is built from Sanpin Village to Jinyin Village in Shiban Street.
At present, more than 45% of the total progress of the "water diversion into bamboo" project has been completed, of which more than 90% of the plant project and the earthwork of the site have been completed, nearly 80% of the slope support has been completed, the main body of the dispatching center, the secondary structure and other individual constructions have been completed, and the overall progress of the water pipeline project has been completed more than 42%. At the same time, according to the data provided by the first phase of the Lianhua Lake water plant, the water plant still has 30,000 tons of surplus water per day, and is currently seizing the progress and striving to complete the pipeline and pumping station by the end of 2024, which is expected to be completed one year ahead of schedule.
It is understood that the "water into bamboo" project will use the high-quality river water from the emergency backup water source of Dazhou City from the Shahe Reservoir and the second water source of Dazhou City from the Bahe River, which is purified by the Lianhua Lake Water Plant in Dazhou City, and then transported to Dazhu County through pipelines, so as to fundamentally break the key constraints of water shortage in the long-term development of Dazhu.
