"'Xiaoyu' is a smart home robot, focusing on the elderly at home. The chassis part has multiple sensors, the circular body part is the main control system equivalent to the brain, and there is a display on the top, which is equivalent to the 'face' of the robot, which can present different expressions according to real-time answers. The next direction of debugging and upgrading is to make Xiaoyu's face move by itself, more lively, and even "dance".

Li Rui, a sophomore majoring in electrical engineering and intelligent control, introduced that Xiaosa is a family intelligent sanitize robot with multi-functional integration of sanitize, cleaning, and inspection. "These two robots are the first batch of interactive robots independently developed by our Undergraduate Innovation Lab. In 2023, the school's two works, "Innovative Design of Robot Based on Fisc" and "Path-guided Experiment of Structured Light 3D Scanning Imaging Robot", won the first prize of the China University Robot Experimental Teaching Innovation Competition.
Since then, the school's science and technology innovation laboratory has been preparing for an interactive robot research and development project. In the way that teachers lead students to form teams, do projects and bring talents.
