Dazhou's industrial development focuses on expanding the vanadium and titanium new material industry, increasing natural gas exploration and development, accelerating the development and construction of high-sulfur gas fields in northeast Sichuan, and carrying out scientific and technological research on the extraction of lithium and potassium from heterohalite and lithium-rich potassium brine.

On April 8, the construction of the first phase of the A-line project of the Sichuan Yongying New Material Integration Industrial Chain Project in the Industrial Park of Nanchong Economic Development Zone was in full swing, which is also one of the key tasks of Nanchong's industrial development in 2024. Yongying New Materials has an annual output of 800,000 tons of functional new materials integrated industrial chain project, with a total investment of about 33 billion yuan, which is the largest single project in the industrial field of Nanchong in recent years, and is expected to be completed and commissioned in October 2024.

In Dazhou, 11 10-billion-level projects have been implemented in more than two years, which is a brilliant achievement in grasping the leading and strong chain. "On February 20 this year, a major project of sodium battery industry with a planned total investment of 11.5 billion yuan landed in the Eastern Economic Development Zone of Dazhou, pointing to new energy, new materials and supporting industrial chains. According to the relevant person in charge of the Dazhou Economic and Information Bureau, over the past two years, Dazhou has signed 11 large orders of "tens of billions" in the manufacturing industry. Natural gas, lithium and potassium, coal and other reserves are abundant, and more than half of the 11 10-billion-level projects are related to these resources. Focusing on the investment of new quality productivity, sodium-ion batteries have been included in the target industries of the new track, and the promotion of "intelligent transformation and digital transformation" of the manufacturing industry has been listed as the key points of attraction.

Since 2022, Dazhou has started construction of 15, 38 and 44 natural gas green fine chemicals, new materials and intelligent equipment projects with an investment of more than 1 billion yuan.

Xinhong Innovation Precision Industry, located in Dazhu Economic Development Zone, Sichuan, is a new energy battery accessories manufacturer.
