On the day of the event, members of the Shanyi Lane Management Committee and community residents gathered together to share their planting and green protection experiences with the horticulturists. During the activity, the community gardener took the common flowers such as begonia, moon flower, gardenia, and triangular plum planted in the alley of Shanyi residential area as examples, and introduced in detail the fertilization, watering, and pruning methods of these common flowers to maintain the healthy growth of flowers.

Under the guidance of the horticulturist, the residents quickly improved the level of green planting, and at the same time mastered a lot of gardening skills through practical operation.
In 2023, in order to create a higher quality living environment for residents, under the overall coordination of the street and the suggestions and suggestions of the alley management committee, the general party branch of Shanyi residential area, together with the relevant departments of the street, will build an alley space with illegal buildings in Hengshengli into a "five-senses garden" for residents' leisure, entertainment, exercise and fitness through micro-renewal. On this basis, a number of flowers were introduced into the residential area, and community flower cultivators, members of the lane committee and community residents were encouraged to plant them.
At present, for the maintenance and management of flowers, in addition to the daily maintenance of the community property, the general party branch of the residential area has also mobilized the autonomous team "Flower Green Protection Team" to strengthen inspections, and constantly adjust the flower varieties according to seasonal changes to ensure that there are considerable and appreciable landscapes throughout the year.
