On April 8, Chery Automobile officially announced that its Chery QQ Ice Cream Youth Edition model was launched, and the new car offers four configurations to choose from, with an official guide price range of 29,900 yuan to 43,900 yuan. Compared with the old model, the new car has received some upgrades in terms of equipment.
The new car basically has not changed in terms of appearance, the front face adopts a closed grille design, and the style appears relatively simple; the headlight group adopts a semi-blackened treatment, and the interior is integrated with a lens and a semi-circular daytime running light, which is very recognizable after being lit; the lamp group is connected to the grille, and the sense of visual integration is relatively strong.
The lower part of the envelope adopts a three-section design, with the fenders on both sides to create a fang-like shape for a more aggressive style, and the bottom is a flat trapezoidal air intake, which is decorated with a grid-like structure to embellish the front of the car.
In terms of side styling, the body lines are relatively square, which belongs to the common design language of the same level, the waistline adopts a through-type design, which embellishes the layering of the side of the body, the wheels adopt a low-drag shape, the style appears relatively simple, and the two-tone body is also available, bringing a very fashionable visual effect.
In terms of tail styling, the whole rear has a strong sense of hierarchy, the tail light group adopts a blackened treatment, and the internal structure echoes the headlight group; the license plate frame area adopts a concave design, embellishing the three-dimensional sense of the tail; the two sides of the lower surround also create a fanged shape, and the bottom is also equipped with a thick black trim plate, which brings a strong sense of power.
In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 3008/1496/1637mm, and the wheelbase is 1960mm, positioning it as a mini car.
In terms of interior, the overall layout is also relatively simple, providing a double-spoke multi-function steering wheel, LCD instrument cluster, floating center control screen and knob-type electronic gear shift mechanism.
In terms of equipment, the new car is equipped with tire pressure alarm, hill start assist, rear seat ratio reclining and manual air conditioning as standard, and the sub-low-spec model has added a reversing camera function.
In terms of power, the new car is available in two ranged versions of 120km and 205km, with a maximum power of 20kW and 30kW of electric motors, a peak torque of 85Nm and 90Nm respectively, and a battery pack with a capacity of 9.4kWh and 17.4kWh respectively, all made of lithium iron phosphate.
