In 2022, an elderly man in Xinyang, Henan Province died due to a tick bite infection, and later after the old man died, other elderly people in the village helped him clean and change clothes, and as a result, the three elderly people who helped him clean and change clothes were infected with tick disease, also known as fever with platelet syndrome.
Therefore, after being bitten by a tick, if the tick carries germs, it is likely to cause death.
Of course, there are many ticks that do not carry various germs, but even if there are no ticks that carry germs, biting people is a terrible thing.
Because the tick's mouthparts are curved, it will slowly suck human blood after penetrating into human skin, if it is not found, the body of this tick will become larger and larger, because it eats a lot of blood, and its head is stuck in human skin, in case it can't be clamped, it may have to cut the skin and do a minor operation to remove its head.
Obviously followed my father back to his hometown to sweep the grave, and when his mother bathed him at night, he found a small black mole on the back of his neck, and my mother thought it was very strange, my son used to have no moles on the back of his neck, why did he find a mole now?
Then I touched it with my hand, and found that this mole was raised, and it didn't feel like a mole, so I quickly called my father over and said: What is it that your son has a black thing here now? Dad picked up the flashlight and found that it was a small tick, and my mother was shocked when she heard the word tick, after all, after having a child, I often watched some news and often read some doctors' popular science, and I knew that ticks were still quite scary.
The mother said: Alas, then send the child to the hospital quickly, because it is still a little far away from the county seat to go back to the hometown to sweep the grave, and it will take nearly half an hour to drive to the county seat.
Dad said, "Don't be in a hurry to bring the small medicine box." When my mother went back to her hometown, she took a small medicine box, which contained some antipyretic patches, cold medicines, some hemostatic patches, and a erythromycin eye ointment. Dad said hurry up and bring me your eyebrow clip.
My mother said anxiously next to me: I watched a news on the Internet, and others said that it was okay to burn cigarette butts. The father said that it would definitely not work, the cigarette burn may still burn the child, and maybe the tick will suck harder and spit out saliva and cause the child to have a more serious infection.
Dad asked Mom to call my cousin to drive to the hospital, and then calmly carried out three steps to remove the tick and save the baby.

Step 1: Apply erythromycin eye ointment
Dad first squeezed erythromycin eye ointment on top of the tick, covered all the ticks, and then picked up alcohol, small tweezers and cotton swabs and got into the car.
Step 2: Disinfect and remove the ticks
Thirty minutes after rubbing the erythromycin eye ointment, he noticed that the tick seemed to be weak, so the father picked up a cotton swab and dipped it in alcohol, first disinfecting the child's cortex, and then disinfecting the eyebrow cuff.
Then use your mobile phone to open a video of a doctor pulling out the tick, according to the doctor's technique, gently clamp the head of the tick with a clip, and gently pull it out along the head of the tick.
Step 3: Sanitize
After the tick was pulled out, the father put it on a piece of paper, and then used the magnification function of the mobile phone to take a photo, and observed that the head and antennae of the tick felt intact, and then disinfected the child again with alcohol.
After doing these three steps, the car also drove to the hospital, and after arriving at the hospital, the dermatologist looked at the tick with a magnifying glass, and said that the mouthparts of the tick were intact, and the child did not have a fever now, and there was no other condition, and there was nothing to treat.
Mom and Dad listened to the doctor, and then they were relieved.
Now that spring is coming, ticks are slowly increasing, when taking children out, you should put on long pants for your child, and there is an elastic band at the hem of the trousers, wear long-sleeved clothes and pants and wear a hat, it is recommended to spray some mosquito repellent on the child, because of the smell of mosquito repellent, the insects do not like it.
Try not to take your child to places where the grass is dense to avoid being bitten by ticks.
