With the continuous improvement of people's living standards and safety awareness, the safety of food contact materials and household appliance materials has received extensive attention from the society, and the relevant state departments have also increased the supervision of the safety production of food contact materials and household appliance materials at the policy level. On March 1 this year, the testing method of the conformity assessment system for the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electronic and electrical products ushered in a new version of the standard, and the new standard for food contact materials will also be officially implemented on September 6, which is undoubtedly an important step for the mainland to take a stricter, greener and safer living and consumption environment.
In this context, in order to help enterprises quickly understand and master the new standards, CETC CVC Weikai held a number of special training sessions in Guangzhou, Jiaxing and Zhanjiang through a combination of offline and online methods. During the training, the experts deeply interpreted the specific changes of the new standard for food contact materials, and made a detailed analysis of the Announcement No. 3 of 2024 (China RoHS Change) issued by the CNCA, directly hitting the key issues that enterprises are concerned about, and ensuring that enterprises can quickly and accurately understand and adapt to the requirements of the new standards through diversified teaching methods such as example analysis and comparison of new and old standards, so as to promote product technology updates and protect the rights and interests of consumers.
