Kuizhou Avenue connects Jinhan Road of Chengdu High-tech Zone in the north and Xibo City of Sichuan Tianfu New Area in the south, connecting the Xinchuan plate of the High-tech Zone and the Tianfu Central Legal District and Tianfu Headquarters Business District in Tianfu New Area, which is a major transportation artery connecting the main urban area and Tianfu New Area. With the completion of Kuizhou Avenue (Jinhan Road to Shenyang Road) and the opening of traffic, the last piece of the puzzle of Kuizhou Avenue, a traffic "artery", has been successfully completed.

Along the north starting point of the junction of Kuizhou Avenue and Chengdu High-tech Zone, it takes less than 10 minutes to reach the West Expo City. This 8.6-kilometer-long, 40-60-meter wide planned red line, and 8-lane two-way "Kangzhuang Avenue" not only greatly improves the efficiency of cross-district traffic, but also plays an important role in promoting regional economic linkage and convenient travel for the masses, helping Tianfu Central Legal District and Tianfu Headquarters Business District to accelerate their development into the "fast lane".

It is reported that with the opening of Kuizhou Avenue to traffic, the bus lines have also been put into operation simultaneously, forming a perfect "subway + bus + slow" green travel transportation system with the stations of greenways and rail transit line 6 along the line.

Changkang Road starts from Tianwang Road in the east to Bayi Road in the west, with a total length of 1.5 kilometers and a width of about 20 meters, connecting the Yongning Campus of the University of Electronic Science and Technology, the first and second phases of the "Three Doctors + AI" Science and Technology Park of the University of Electronic Science and Technology, and the affordable housing of Ronghe Yaju, which is an important traffic artery in the core area of the Qingshuihe High-tech Industrial Corridor.

"On this road, there are not only knowledge-intensive universities, but also science and technology parks for science and technology transformation, as well as affordable housing projects, which make the key projects in the area connect as a whole, and are the link of industrial integration, industry-city integration, and urban-rural integration. Recently, the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway Culvert under the North Lake in Chengdu Panda International Tourism Resort (hereinafter referred to as "Panda Resort") was officially opened to traffic, ending the history of the Beihu area and Longtan Sichang Town being separated by railway lines for a long time without a straight road.

The construction project of connecting Longtan Sichang Town through the culvert under the North Lake starts from Longshu Road and ends at Huxiu 1st Road, with a total length of 180 meters. Due to the operation of three railway lines, including the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway and the Dacheng Railway, the project was not originally connected to Longshu Road. This time, a new underpass culvert will connect the two roads on both sides of the railway, relieving the pressure on regional traffic.

In recent years, a total of 6 dead-end roads have been opened in the Panda Resort. In addition to the culvert of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway under the North Lake, Guilong West 2nd Road has been completed in its entirety, and Guixiang 2nd Road, Guixiang 3rd Road, Guixiang 4th Road, and Guiye Road have also been opened to traffic.

Among them, five roads, Guilong West 2nd Road, Guixiang 2nd Road, Guixiang 3rd Road, Guixiang 4th Road and Guiye Road, are located in Tonggui District, with a total length of about 2.7 kilometers. In addition to the new roads, the project also upgraded the surrounding greenery, and built new rainwater and sewage pipe networks, sidewalks, communication and power pipelines and other related supporting facilities.

Five roads have opened up the "last kilometer" from Tonggui area to Chengjinqing Expressway, so that the area can realize horizontal road connection and longitudinal road connection. This not only ensures the convenience of more than 10,000 people in the area, but also lays a good transportation foundation for the integrated development of Tonggui TOD Future Park Community.

"In addition to the 6 dead-end roads that have been opened, in the first quarter of this year, we have accelerated the construction of 3 roads, including Jialian Road, Shigang 1st Road, and Hujing 5th Road, and started the construction of 6 roads, including Beihu South Area and Guicong Road. The relevant person in charge of the Panda Resort Management Committee said that it will strive to achieve a smooth conversion of internal roads in key areas and an effective connection of external roads within the year.

The structure of the whole backbone road network of Panda Resort is "two rings and nine shots", "two rings" are the traffic conversion functional rings in the core area enclosed by Panda Avenue and Hushan Road, and the regional traffic cycle formed by the Ring Expressway, Chengjinqing Expressway, Third Ring Road and Sichuan-Shaanxi Road, and "nine shots" are nine external traffic rays such as Shulong Road, Chengmian Expressway, Panda Avenue and Longqing Road.

From 2021 to the present, Panda Resort has built a total of 25 roads such as Huaguan Road, Shuangshi Road, and Guixiang 1st Road, completed the transformation of backbone roads such as Panda Avenue, and is carrying out the upgrading and transformation of Longqing Ring Road, which has initially realized the smooth conversion and effective connection of the traffic ring road, and then has these road network construction plans:

North Lake area

At present, 8 planned traffic roads, including Huguang Road, Hushan Road and Hujing 1st Road, have been basically completed in the North Lake North Area, and the preliminary work is being accelerated for 5 planned roads in the North Lake South Area. By the end of 2025, the road network structure of the Beihu area will be basically in place, presenting a road network system of "one ring, three horizontal and five vertical".

Panda Base Area

Efforts will be made to build a new tunnel under the south gate section of the Panda Base and a tunnel under Shulong Road-Panda Avenue to enhance the traffic capacity of the area. By the end of 2025, the road network in the Panda Base area will be fully formed.

Tonggui area

Guilong West 3rd Road and Guilong West 4th Road will be newly built, and strive to initially form a "seven horizontal and seven vertical" road network system with Guigui within the year. By the end of 2025, the travel needs of residents in Tonggui Area will be basically met.

Yilitang area

Four new roads, including Shigang No. 2 Road (tentative name) and Shigang No. 3 Road (tentative name), will be built to unblock the main vein of Yilitang Road. By the end of 2025, the road network in the Yilitang area will be fully formed.
