"Modern medical research has proved that Zanthoxylum pepper contains a variety of volatile oils, alkaloids, coumarins and organic acids, which have local anesthetic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, antitumor, insecticidal and other effects.

Pepper is pungent and hot, and can treat cold abdominal pain. It also has the effect of reducing phlegm and appetizing healthy food, and can help digest high-fat food. In addition, piperine is especially suitable for obese people because it helps to speed up metabolism.

Compared with peppercorn, Sichuan pepper has greater medicinal value, and the latter is more commonly used as a seasoning to promote digestion. For those who have a toothache, you can put a few peppercorns and peppercorns on the sore spot to bite it solidly, so as to have a certain pain-relieving effect.
