Apple iPhone 16 / Pro model machine exposure: larger screen, new camera button

IT Home reported on March 26 that the model machine of the iPhone 16 series has been leaked on the Internet, allowing us to better understand the design of the new machine.

IT Home noticed that one of the pictures shows the change in the size of the new phone, and unlike last year, it is reported that this year's iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have larger displays, 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively. In comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have display sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively.

The image also shows the adjustment of the button layout of the new device, with the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus using the "function keys" that were previously only available on the Pro series, although the images show that the new "function keys" appear to be larger.

The much-talked-about rear camera module has also received a redesign, with a raised pill-shaped section that houses both wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses (available on both iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus). The microphone is located next to the lens, and the flash is moved to the back of the camera beyond the bulge.

It's worth mentioning that all four iPhone 16 models will come with a new separate entity for taking photos and videos. The button is located on the side of the fuselage, on the same side as the power button, replacing the space for the 5G mmWave antenna on the US version.

The picture shows that the "photo button" is almost the same as the fuselage. While there are still rumors that it will be mechanical rather than capacitive, according to The Information, the button will support pressure-sensitive and touch-sensitive operation. Apple believes that the "camera button" will be a big selling point for the iPhone 16 series, further enhancing its strength as a powerful tool for video shooting.
