If the normal time node is followed, this car will be officially unveiled in the third quarter of this year.
In fact, about this new Tiguan L, in fact, it was exposed as early as last year, and the new design concept adopted has indeed subverted our conventional perception of this car to a certain extent. Compared to its predecessor, the new car is more of a traditional design concept, with a rounded nose that contrasts sharply with its predecessor. In terms of headlights, the new Tiguan L also supports the IQ.Light LED smart light cluster for the first time. There is no doubt about the lighting effect of the whole car, the entire front envelope is also the highlight of the new car, the wide size layout also extends the three-dimensional sense of the whole car, and there is also a silver decorative belt inlaid around it, and the side also ensures the fashion of the new car.
Coming to the side position, we noticed that the new Tiguan L adopts the same design style as the front of the car, the traditional waistline is almost connected to the entire body, and even the position of the wheel arches is unified with the body, so that the coherence of the new car is also guaranteed. And the length of the new car has increased by 220mm compared with the past, so the new car looks more slender, and at the same time ensures the interior space! The whole interior completely impresses us, the new car completely adopts the same design layout as the new "Passat", the steering wheel has been replaced with Volkswagen's latest three-spoke family design, the display area and upgraded to a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 9.2-inch central control screen, and in order to bring a good intelligent experience, the new car is also embedded with Volkswagen's latest MIB3 infotainment system. Regarding the power system, only two sets of power have been exposed, namely the EA211 1.5T engine and the EA888 2.0T engine. The 1.5T has a maximum power of 110kW and is mated to a six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the 2.0T also uses a high-to-low engine version with a maximum power of 140kW and 180kW, respectively, and is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
