Team XG defeated LGD 2-0 to win the inaugural Future Games Dota 2 event

IT Home reported on February 25 that the first international e-sports event "Future Games" opened in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, on the evening of February 21, and Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The tournament is hosted by Russia and will run until March 3.

Attracting around 2,000 athletes from more than 100 countries and regions, the Games of the Future combines traditional sports with e-sports, including e-sports, robotics, AR and VR (augmented and virtual reality), information technology and artificial intelligence, and is divided into five categories: sports, tactics, strategy, technology and racing, with a total of 21 events.

In today's Dota 2 event, XG Esports Club won the Dota 2 event at the Kazan Future Games with a 2:0 win over another Chinese team, LGD, with a prize of 350,000 yuan (currently about 2.52 million yuan) and 160,000 US dollars (IT house note: currently about 1.152 million yuan).

In addition, the third-place iG also received a prize of US$120,000 (currently about 864,000 yuan), and if you count the ARs of the 5th-8th place, the four Chinese teams received a total of 665,000 US dollars (currently about 4.788 million yuan), which is equivalent to two-thirds of the total prize money!
