On February 23, the BYD Dolphin Glory Edition was officially launched, with a total of 4 models launched, and its official price range was 99,800-129,800 yuan. BYD Dolphin is the first model based on BYD e platform 3.0, as a facelifted model, the Dolphin Glory Edition will be optimized and adjusted in terms of details and configuration, and at the same time, the price will further reduce the threshold of the entire car series.
In terms of exterior design, the BYD Dolphin Glory Edition will continue the styling of the models on sale as a whole, adopting the new design concept of "marine aesthetics", the vehicle shape is round and cute, quite youthful and energetic, and the 16-inch wheels of the new car will be changed to a five-hole flower fin shape to further enhance the recognition. In addition, the new car will be available in six solid body colors and two two-tone body colors.
In the interior part, the BYD Dolphin Glory Edition has an ocean inspiration, a large number of soft curves, coherent lines, and design elements from the ocean, a 12.8-inch rotatable central control screen, integrated with the latest DiLink system, to ensure the functionality and entertainment of the car machine. In addition, parts such as the air conditioning control area, the front center tunnel, and the air conditioning vents are all curved designs, which visually add cute elements. The new car will add a Type-C charging port and have 50W wireless fast charging. The seat configuration will also be upgraded to increase the ventilation function of the front seats.
In terms of power, the BYD Dolphin will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, of which the vitality version, the free version and the fashion version have a maximum power of 70kW and a peak torque of 180Nm. The high-performance Cavalier drive motor has a maximum output of 130 kW and a peak torque of 290 Nm. In terms of range, depending on the model version, the new car is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 32.256 kWh and 44.928 kWh, and the CLTC range is available in 302 km, 401 km and 420 km.
