The Wuling Starlight Co-creation Edition was officially launched at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, and the new car is available in two power forms: pure electric and plug-in hybrid, of which the pure electric is available in two configurations, the 410 standard type and the 510 advanced type, priced at 99,800 yuan and 109,800 yuan, respectively, and the plug-in hybrid is available in four configuration versions, with prices of 79,800 yuan to 102,800 yuan, respectively.
The front face design of Wuling Starlight inherits Wuling's family-style design language, which is officially called the "Star Wing Aesthetics" design concept. The headlight cluster adopts a one-piece through-type design. Star Sand Gray, Star Curtain Black, Star Shimmer Gold, and Star Flame Red are four textured car colors with no grille, and the front face is low-lying swooping coupe attitude, which also makes the body lines more dynamic, achieving ultra-low wind resistance of 0.228Cd of the vehicle.
Wuling Xingguang has a smooth body shape, and the waistline is excessively very smooth, which blends perfectly with the slight slip-back line of the roof at the taillights. At the rear, the Co-creation model has an optimized rear bumper and longer turn signals.
Wuling Starlight adopts a simple design style, and the 15.6-inch central control screen adopts a floating design. The centre console area is finished with black piano lacquer. The 2800mm ultra-long wheelbase creates a spacious space, and the vehicle has 14 storage spaces and a 540L trunk to make travel stress-free.
The Wuling Starlight plug-in hybrid model is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor with a peak output of 130 kW. In terms of all-electric range, there are two pure electric range standards: 50 km and 105 km (WLTC), with a combined range of 1,100 km. It adopts the three-in-one electric drive assembly of Lingxi Power, with a motor power of up to 150kW, a peak torque of 310N·m, and an acceleration of 7.3s per 100 kilometers.
It is worth mentioning that the whole Wuling Xingguang pure electric system is equipped with Shenlian battery 2C fast charging as standard, as one of the fastest charging batteries in the 400V architecture, Shenlian battery has the only 2C fast charging core in the same level, and the battery life increases by 200 kilometers in 15 minutes.
In terms of intelligent driving, the Wuling Starlight co-creation model is equipped with the standard capabilities of Osmo Intelligent Driving, including 0-150km/h ACC intelligent cruise and driving assistance, AEB automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning and assistance.
