The main models of F-16 are F-16A/B, F-16C/D, F-16E/F, F-16I, F-16V, of which 1791 A/B types were produced, and Block 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20 produced 94, 154, 361, 1022, and 159 aircraft respectively, and basically all of them were retired, leaving only 141 Block 20 in Taiwan and 9 aircraft in the United States as an imaginary enemy;
A total of 2,662 C/D aircraft were produced, including 30 imaginary enemy aircraft and 98 Japanese improved F-2A/B, while Block 25, 30/32, 40/42, 50/52, and 52+ produced 209, 733, 809, 604, and 179 respectively;
A total of 80 Block 60/62 aircraft were produced for the E/F customized type, 100 Block 52D aircraft were produced for the improved Type I, and about 525 aircraft were currently ordered for the V-type Block70/72, so that the order volume of the entire F16 series exceeded 5,000 aircraft.
At present, F16C/D is still the world's mainstream fighter, with a total of more than 14,600 fighters in the world in 2023, of which more than 2,000 are F16, accounting for about 14%. The United States has a total of 696 F16Cs and 145 F16Ds (most of them are Block 40/42, and there are about 250 Block 50/52), Turkey has 243 F16C/D, Israel has 224 F16C/D/I, Egypt has 218 F16C/D, and the rest of the countries have fewer than 200 F16s.
