A rare Golden Week holiday,
Where are you going to relax?
Recently, a research company conducted a questionnaire survey of 5,000 people in Japan from March 27 to April 1, focusing on their travel budgets and how to spend this small holiday during this year's Golden Week.
The results showed that the average budget of the respondents for the Golden Week was 27,857 yen (about 1,292 yuan). This figure is almost the same as last year.
In addition, 16.8% of the respondents believe that the current price rise will have a significant impact on the budget during the Golden Week, 46.6% believe that it will have a certain impact, and 36.6% of the respondents think that it will have no impact......
In addition, everyone has different plans for how to spend this year's Golden Week.
According to the survey results, 34.1% of the respondents accounted for the largest proportion and did not plan to go anywhere during Golden Week, but stayed at home.
20.5% plan to eat out. 16.7% planned to go out to shop, a decrease of 6.8% compared to last year (23.5%).
In addition, 15.6% plan to travel in Japan (14.4% in 2023), and only 1% plan to travel abroad.
Next, when asked about the average budget for domestic travel in Japan, the survey results showed that it was 81,310 yen. This is an increase of about 10,000 yen from 71,809 yen in the previous year.
When asked why they are increasing their travel budgets, the majority of respondents answered that "the pandemic is over, it's easier to travel now", "have endured for about four years", and "budget increases due to higher hotel prices".
According to the news released by Japan's Narita Airport on April 25, the number of international passengers (including outbound and inbound) at Narita Airport during this year's Golden Week was 835,200, an increase of 33.6% over the same period last year, and has recovered to about 7% before the epidemic.
Japanese media speculate that due to the continuous depreciation of the yen, this year's Golden Week will attract more overseas tourists, triggering a new round of "explosive buying" craze......
