Since World War II, the core architecture of the off-road vehicle has basically remained the same, with the non-load-bearing body ensuring the torsional resistance of the vehicle, and the mechanical four-wheel drive ensuring that the front and rear axles have real traction, and on top of this, long suspension travel and differential locks are used to ensure passability. This architecture is mature, and reliability has been tested in countless wars, especially for military and field workers, reliability is often the most important.

As for the handling, it is indeed a bit difficult for this big man of more than 3.1 tons, but under the effect of the CDC shock absorber, the vehicle can transiently improve the suspension support when cornering at a slightly faster speed, with this set of thin tires, the feeling of cornering is indeed much more refreshing than the mainstream hard-core off-road vehicle, the body roll is not so large, and the rear follow-up is faster, which is what we usually call "big car feeling" is not so strong. In addition, the noise of the whole set of suspension work is almost inaudible, the road noise transmitted by the chassis is also very slight, and the non-load-bearing body has a better sense of isolation when walking on a bad road, so the chassis of the tank 700 also has a good driving quality on a bad road.
With such a road performance can score 80 points, the tank 700 is currently the ceiling of China's luxury hard-core off-road vehicles, if you are not a senior off-road player, the above can help you solve the problem of "whether the tank 700 is good to drive". Of course, there are imperfections, that is, the texture of the power connection, first of all, the overall smoothness of the car is not bad, but the 9AT shift clearance is still slow, and the V6 engine intervenes in the drive at medium and low speeds, and there is still an instantaneous power interruption in the process of coupling with the hybrid system, which does not achieve the close to 100% seamless connection of some hybrid cars in the industry.
