Gaza receives $1.1 billion a year in donations, with the United States leading the way.

The total was $1.174 billion, with the top three countries of the United States, Germany and the European Union accounting for 56% of the total donations, and the Western countries within the top 20 accounted for 83% of the total contributions.
The contribution of all Arab countries was less than $50 million. Iran didn't even donate a penny.
However, the Pakistani people receive assistance every year not only from the donations received by UNRWA, but also from the direct funding of the Palestinian National Authority (Fatah) from some countries, such as China's annual aid to Fatah and humanitarian aid, which is then distributed collectively by Fatah.
In addition, much of the hundreds of millions of dollars in annual aid to Palestine from the Gulf oil states is also delivered to Fatah, not UNRWA.
The huge donations received by UNRWA from countries and organizations, a large proportion of which are used for personnel expenses and operating expenses, have formed a force of "millions of workers".
UNRWA employs 33,000 people in Jordan, Lebanon and Gaza, including 15,000 regular employees in Gaza alone, with a median annual salary of $120,000 for senior employees. The annual salary of low-level employees is also dozens of times higher than the average income in Gaza.
In addition, UNRWA manages dozens of large warehouses, hundreds of schools, hospitals and clinics in Gaza, as well as a large number of livelihood welfare facilities.
As early as 2019, UNRWA was investigated by the United Nations for a huge corruption scandal, but it failed to completely rectify it, which made the United Nations helpless.
