When I was doing the year-end summary, I realized that I had fallen into the pit of "good things recommended" over the years. A lot of things that are rumored to be very useful on the Internet have been bought by me, but in fact they are not useful at all - or should I put it more rigorously: a little useful, but really not very useful, especially the following 7 things.
#01. Hair dryer stand
It is estimated that only people with long hair who have more hair can understand how painful it is to blow their hair. I usually hold a hair dryer for more than ten minutes, but it really makes my arms unbearable, so I bought this▽
In fact, the daily use is just like this: when you don't use the hair dryer, you can use it as a stand, so as not to get in the way, so as not to have to put it away every time you use it.
But when I really wanted to blow my hair with it, I found that it wasn't as easy to use as I imagined. Its air direction is fixed, if you don't have to hold it with your hands, you can only blow like this
In fact, it is still not possible to blow in circles like this, because when we blow our hair, we need to constantly change the direction and angle. The head is not so flexible, and it is impossible to control it precisely at a certain angle, so every time I blow my hair, I mess up like a madman.
#02. Spinner faucet
It is also a small object that has been very popular in the past two years, and the direction of the water can be changed arbitrarily. The most useful angle for me is facing up, so that I don't have to brush the tooth cup when brushing my teeth, which is convenient and hygienic▽
In addition, it is all faulty, such as when washing your hands, you must habitually adjust the angle of the spout first, otherwise this embarrassment will occur
And because there are too many gaps in the universal outlet, limescale will accumulate in each seam. I don't know if I think too much or I didn't buy it right, I always feel that the quality of the universal spouts on the market is not very good, and it is easy to rust after a long time
Fortunately, the price of this thing is not high, and if it is dirty or rusty, it can be replaced with a new one. But you also know that I haven't changed it for a long time: it's also quite troublesome to replace, especially for women, who may not be able to screw it at all.
#03. Mite remover
The biggest use of my mite remover is not to remove mites, but to remove dust. Like the following, you can remove all visible dust from the bed. It's not even just the dust on the sheets, it's even the dirt that gets into the cloth can be sucked out.
But I'm sorry to tell you: nothing else.
It claims to be able to get rid of mites, but I don't think it's very effective. Even though I use it every day to clean my sheets, I'm still allergic when I need to be allergic – but when I take the sheets out in the sun for a few hours, they're no longer allergic.
As for the patting and ultraviolet functions, they are even more "useless":
The slapping function is purely for cosmetic purposes and serves no purpose other than to pat dust into the air to irritate my rhinitis. Ultraviolet rays depend on time, and you can see the authoritative explanation▽
As soon as the mite remover passed over the bed, even if the ultraviolet rays were turned on, it would not work.
I don't like mite removers because vacuum cleaners are so versatile these days. Change the vacuuming head and you can use it to clean the bedding. The only difference is that there is no patting and ultraviolet function of the mite remover, but these two functions are useless anyway, and there is no such thing as nothing.
#04. Lazy rags
I used to be a big fan of lazy rags, not only because the paper was thick enough and not afraid of water, but also cheap. When you place an order on an e-commerce platform, you can buy hundreds of tickets for ten yuan, which is enough for half a year.
But one day I accidentally saw that the place that was wiped with a lazy rag would leave a layer of confetti▽
That's when I was scared: I often used it to dry the residual water stains on the dishes, and now that I think about it, it has caused secondary pollution to the dishes, even dirtier than the residual water stains.
If you think about it further, it's even more frightening: a roll of toilet paper costs two or three dollars, and lazy rags, which are thicker and more durable than toilet paper, sell for only a few cents. What are the raw materials used in lazy rags, I don't even dare to know the truth.
But then I found something even better – kitchen paper towels. It is almost exactly the same as the lazy rag, but there is a national standard specifically for it, and it also meets the requirements for food contact.
The disadvantage is that the price is high, almost 0.1 yuan a piece. So now I only use it occasionally, and most of the time it's back to the era of rags. Although paper is convenient, it is really unaffordable!
#05.Laundry pods
At first, it was just some miscellaneous brands of laundry detergent pods, and later some big brands of laundry detergent also launched laundry pods, so I bought them home. I have used it a few times, and I found that it is indeed very convenient:
Put the clothes in the washing machine and throw in two laundry pods.
As for the effect, it's a bit hard to describe -
Laundry pods are a mixture of laundry detergent, sanitizer, and fabric softener, but as I said some time ago, the timing of these three things is different.
• The disinfectant should be put first, and it should be soaked for a while to achieve the disinfection effect.
• Laundry detergent is placed in the middle and is only needed during the washing process.
• Put the fabric softener last, and when machine washing, it is only necessary to put it during the rinsing process.

Laundry pods are three things added to the washing machine at the same time, and the effect of the other two detergents will be reduced in addition to the laundry detergent. And it's too expensive! A condensation bead costs at least one or two yuan, and the cost of a single wash is nearly five yuan.
#06.Double Membrane Water Purifier
In the last ten years, no, the most failed consumption in my life is definitely it!
The main filter element in the water purifier is called "membrane", and there are two types of membranes: RO membrane and ultrafiltration membrane. RO membranes have high filtration accuracy, but they need to discharge wastewater, and ultrafiltration membranes have 100 times worse filtration accuracy, but they do not need to discharge wastewater.
So some people said: If two membranes are installed at the same time, won't it be possible to have high precision and not discharge wastewater?
I thought it was a joke at first, but later I found out that there are really such water purifiers for sale. The price is twice as much as the same grade RO membrane water purifier, but I still bought it home - with two faucet valves, corresponding to two membranes ▽
It took me a year to find out: ultrafiltration membranes are completely decorations!
Although the merchant has always said that the filtration accuracy of the ultrafiltration membrane is 0.01μm, which is enough to filter out all the impurities in the water. But I don't like to look at theory, only reality. The reality is: when the filtered water is heated, there will still be scale.
For this purpose, I also bought a TDS test pen to test the concentration of water ions (you can understand that the lower the TDS, the purer the water). It was found that the TDS of the water filtered by the ultrafiltration membrane was about 200ppm, while the standard of purified water was less than 10ppm, and the standard of direct drinking water was less than 50ppm.
Even if it's of little use, I admit that I spent unjust money at the beginning. But now it makes me a wronged seed once a year: the ultrafiltration membrane needs to change the filter element once a year, two or three hundred yuan at a time.
I didn't want to change it, but I felt that it was a shame to throw away this feature after spending so much money to buy it home. It's a pity to discard the tasteless food.
#07. Smart Switch
I can't show you the finished product, because I've already removed it, and that's it
When you buy a smart switch, you will find that it is divided into two types: zero live wire version and single live wire version. Users like me who did not make a reservation for the smart switch during the decoration can only buy the single liveline version.

See no, whether the switch is on or off, the smart chip inside is connected. As a result, there is always a weak current in the line after the switch is disconnected, which can cause the lamp to flicker.
• Weak current, many times not enough to support the work of smart chips. The manifestation is this: frequent disconnections!
When I finally wanted to use my phone to control the lights on a whim, I found that I needed to reconnect to the Internet, and I didn't want to fix it in about ten minutes. I would have gone over and turned off the lights ten times.

#08. Multi-eye gas stove
"Why can Chinese people only use castrated double-eye gas stoves?"
Seeing this sentence, I resolutely bought myself a multi-eye gas stove - the following one, exactly the same as the one abroad▽
Afterwards, I suddenly realized that the double eye stove was not a "castrated version", but a customized version of Chinese food. There is a bottleneck in the gas stove technology, and the amount of natural gas intake is fixed, and the firepower generated is also limited.
If there are more stove holes in a multi-smoke stove, the firepower of each stove will naturally decrease. The power of both eye stoves is more than 5.2kW, so let's take a look at the power of multi-eye stoves▽
If the fire is not enough, the stir-fry will not be delicious.
• The multi-eye stove also faces the problem of insufficient size, foreign cooking uses small pots, and the woks in Chinese food are at least 30cm, and the steamer is larger. The distance between the eyes of the multi-eye stove is too small, and so many cauldrons can't fit at all.
• Today's range hoods are also tailor-made for Chinese food, and the air inlet of the hood is just in the middle of the two stove holes, or simply directly above each stove eye is directly facing an air inlet. The oil smoke is directly sucked away, and the path is the shortest and the best effect.
Multi-eye stoves are not good, it does not have a fixed arrangement itself. And the shape is strange, the position and size of the stove are also different, and you can't find a suitable range hood at all. So my feelings are:
