In order to deepen the exchanges and exchanges between young people from Han, Hong Kong and Macao, and deepen their understanding of Chinese history, Chinese culture, and modern science and technology, on the morning of January 23, the unveiling ceremony of the Han-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Exchange Station and National Conditions Education Base (Hongshan Station) was held in Wuhan Creative World. Hu Suwen, second-level inspector of the United Front Work Department of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, Guo Weixun, director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Han, and Li Tian, member of the Standing Committee of the Hongshan District Party Committee and head of the United Front Work Department, attended the ceremony. More than 60 people attended the event, including the heads of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Offices of eight universities in Hongshan District, the heads of relevant units directly under the district, and representatives of United Front Associations such as Hongshan Overseas Friendship Association.
In July 2023, the United Front Work Department of the Hongshan District Party Committee gave full play to the resource advantages of the university city with intensive intelligence and cultural convergence, and comprehensively launched the construction of the Hangang-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Exchange Station and the National Conditions Education Base (Hongshan Station), including 1 cultural and creative park, 1 ecological oasis, 15 universities, 8 museums and 7 humanities and art museums, showing Hongshan's scientific and educational advantages and cultural heritage in an all-round way for Han, Hong Kong and Macao youth, and building a road of interconnection between Han, Hong Kong and Macao, and a bridge for co-creation and sharing.
At the meeting, the participating leaders unveiled the plaque of Wuhan Creative World, the central station of the Han-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Exchange Station, and awarded plaques to Hongshan Tianxingzhou, Zhimei Space and 8 university museums as representatives of the exchange station sub-station and national conditions education base.
The guests visited the Wuhan Creative World Experience Hall and the United Art Museum and communicated with each other.
According to a briefing given by a responsible person of the United Front Work Department of the Hongshan District CPC Committee, Hongshan is a city of universities and a district of science and education, with more than 1,600 students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. With "one station, one continent and three groups" as the center, Hongshan has carefully built the Han-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Exchange Station and the National Conditions Education Base (Hongshan Station), expanding the scope of the exchange station from enterprises to universities, from scenic spots to parks, and from museums to art galleries, creating more opportunities and platforms for exchanges and cooperation between Hanshan, Hong Kong and Macao youths, and helping more young people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to come to Hongshan to pursue their dreams, build their dreams and realize their dreams.
