Anhui Shucheng historical celebrity revolutionary martyr Hu Di

Hu Di is a native of Ganfenhe Town, Shucheng County, Anhui Province, and was formerly known as Hu Baichang. Born in 1905 in Shucheng, Anhui. He was admitted to a Chinese university in 1923, joined the Communist Party of China in 1925, and served as the director of the Great Wall News Agency, a branch of the Kuomintang secret service in Tianjin. In the early 1920s, Hu Di, Li Kenong, and Qian Zhuangfei organized an intelligence group headed by Li Kenong, who used their special posts within the enemy to make special contributions to defending the Party Central Committee in the Midst of the White Terror. In September 1935, dissatisfied with Zhang Guotao's separatist behavior, he was framed by Zhang Guotao as a "Kuomintang agent" and mistakenly killed. In 1945, the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China posthumously recognized Hu Di as a revolutionary martyr.
