Bin laden

At the same time, he wanted to drive out all the foreign troops stationed in the Islamic world and to achieve his goals at all costs, bin Laden was not a simple idealist, but a doer who really took action, and it took an opportunity to act, and it didn't take long for that opportunity to happen.
When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan in 1979, the young bin Laden, a member of the Arab world, chose to leave behind his affluent life and join the armed forces against the Soviet invasion.
Dorkin's bin Laden soon attracted the attention of the United States, and in order to fight the Soviet Union, the United States vigorously publicized bin Laden's "heroic deeds" in the West, and at the same time, the United States also sent a lot of weapons and equipment to bin Laden.

But bin Laden's tear with the United States came after the Soviet Union withdrew from Afghanistan, when he returned to Saudi Arabia and then began extremist activities in the country, only to be expelled by the Saudi government shortly after.
As Saudi Arabia and the United States deepened, and Israel as a state, bin Laden hated the United States as a heretic, and later he saw the United States as an enemy of the entire Arab world.
At this time, the United States did not know that they had released a giant beast of the wilderness.
Terrorist attacks
In 1992, two people were killed in an attack on the US military in Somalia, and the following year two senior CIA officials were killed in an attack on the US mainland, and the World Trade Center bombing occurred not long after.
But that was just the beginning, and in 1996, a U.S. military base in Saudi Arabia was rammed by a truck laden with explosives, and a huge explosion ensued, killing 19 U.S. soldiers instantly.
There were many similar attacks on the United States, and as the number of terrorist attacks increased and the frequency increased, the United States quickly launched an investigation into this, and it did not take long to determine that it was Osama bin Laden who planned everything behind it, so the United States pursued bin Laden and his members of the terrorist organization around the world.
But bin Laden was no idle man, and for the next dozen years, he wandered around Africa and the Middle East, hiding in Tibet, and the U.S. intelligence agencies had nothing to do with him.
But it was not the attacks on these overseas military bases that really hurt the United States, but the 911 incident that occurred in 2001.
On the morning of the incident, four planes in the United States were hijacked by terrorists, and the American side did not care at first, thinking that the hijackers were nothing more than trying to extort a huge ransom, and something unexpected happened when the US authorities were preparing to negotiate.
Because two of the planes, after deviating from the course, crashed straight into the World Trade Center in New York, one crashed into the Pentagon, and the last crashed in the United States.
This terrorist attack is the most serious attack on the mainland since the Pearl Harbor incident, and this terrorist attack directly caused hundreds of billions of dollars in losses to the United States, and the number of dead and missing people is more than 500 more than at the time of Pearl Harbor.

The death of bin Laden
The day after 911, US President George W. Bush declared war on terrorism on television, and then offered a global bounty on Osama bin Laden's arrest, but never really caught him.
Although there were several reports that bin Laden had died of various accidents or diseases, it turned out that these news were basically smokescreens, and in fact bin Laden was still alive and well, and it was not until 2010 that CIA agents determined his hiding place.
In order to completely eliminate bin Laden, U.S. military and government officials made detailed operational deployments, and finally on May 1, 2011, 24 Navy SEALs flew to Pakistan in Black Hawk helicopters, and successfully killed bin Laden after nearly an hour of fierce fighting.
