But this is the time to embody the charm of mythology, in Taoist mythology, the two are not only related, but also enmity. As for the cause and effect, that is, the child has no mother, which is a long story.
According to the "Classic of Mountains and Seas" and other records, in ancient times, ten suns suddenly appeared in the sky, and the excess light and heat caused the world to fall into disaster. Fortunately, the hero Hou Yi appeared and shot out the nine suns in one go, helping the world to restore clarity.
In ancient mythology, the sun was also known as the golden crow, and the image was probably a three-legged black crow. In the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", it is said that the ten suns are all the sons of Emperor Jun and Xihe, and the sun also has parents, who live on the Fusang sacred tree in Tanggu, and take turns to come out on duty every day to bring light to the world.
It wasn't until one day that the playful golden crows ran out together, and they had the opportunity to perform Hou Yi Shooting Sun. From this we can see that the sun has obvious personality traits, and is not a dead thing without ideas, but more like ten naughty children...... , uh, it looks like it's a horror story again.
In short, we should be more concerned about children, what happened to the nine golden crows shot down by Hou Yi? Are they dead or alive or half-dead? As for the whereabouts of these nine golden crows, Taoist mythology has long been decided. It's just that not many people know.
According to the Taoist classic "Classic Records", the nine golden crows that were hit by the arrow all fell to Qingcheng Mountain, and eight of them became ghost kings and continued to plague the world. There is only one golden crow, which has become a human, named Zhao Gongming, also known as Zhao Guangming, the homonym shines brightly, and the name points out the origin.
Later, Zhao Gongming was turned into an immortal by the heavenly master Zhang Daoling, one of the four generalissimos of Taoism, and at the same time he was also one of the eight ghost commanders and one of the five plague gods. As for the God of Wealth, it is just an insignificant part-time job, and Zhao Gongming is essentially an immortal known for his force.
So in Taoist mythology, Zhao Gongming is essentially the incarnation of the golden crow and the sun spirit, who was shot down from the sky by Hou Yi back then, which is why the sun shooting hero Hou Yi and Zhao Gongming have a grudge, of course, Zhao Gongming may not have a deep grudge against Hou Yi, otherwise he would not be the only one who did not become a ghost king.
Why did the golden crow of the Yang attribute fall to the ground and become a ghost king? This is probably the principle that the extremes of things must be reversed, and Hou Yi is not idle, "Huainanzi" records that Yi eliminated the harm of the world and died as Zongbu. The so-called Zongbu is an immortal who specializes in curing ghosts.
Jin Crow fell and became a ghost king, and Hou Yi became a god specializing in treating ghosts after his death, it can be seen that the mythical story of Hou Yi and Jin Crow is not over, and there is a follow-up hidden plot, although our Chinese mythology looks more chaotic, but in fact, there is a relationship between inheritance and evolution, but it needs to be carefully excavated.
