Re-understanding "health" among residents
In order to disseminate health knowledge to outpatients, the District Maternal and Child Health Hospital has set up health education columns, provided free access to health education prescriptions and materials, produced and distributed manuals and put up posters, etc., to create a good health atmosphere; provided health intervention to inpatients, focused on individualized health education, formulated the work process and key points of health education during hospitalization, and provided psychological and related disease knowledge guidance to inpatients and their families; carried out health education to discharged patients, and special personnel were responsible for patient discharge consultation and follow-up, and continued to provide health advice to ensure the continuation and implementation of health promotion after discharge。
At the same time, health science popularization activities are carried out in conjunction with statutory health promotion days such as Breastfeeding Day, World Menopause Care Day, and World Autism Day, and various health education knowledge manuals are distributed to expand the influence of social publicity. In 2023, more than 80 offline health science lectures, free clinics, consultations and other activities will be carried out, with more than 6,000 people participating.
By carrying out free clinics, popularizing health knowledge, and advocating healthy lifestyles, it also lays a good foundation for the masses to have an in-depth understanding of the national health policy and improve their self-care ability.

Extend quality service to the grassroots
It has become a major feature of the district maternal and child health hospital to set up public welfare classes for the benefit of the people in the hospital and create a special education model for women and children. The hospital has set up "two schools and two classrooms" (i.e., a school for pregnant women, a school for parenting, a pre-marital class, and a health lecture hall) all year round, which are open to the public, and carry out various forms of maternal and child health education and health promotion activities in combination with the actual situation to popularize health knowledge.
The Pregnant Women School is a public welfare pregnant woman classroom, which provides health education for pregnant women in the district before, during, during, and after childbirth, and the whole life cycle of women and children through online and offline methods. Carry out a variety of theoretical, practical and high-quality courses, including pregnancy nutrition guidance, prenatal education and eugenics, health care in the second and third trimesters, natural childbirth, scientific confinement, breastfeeding, neonatal care, etc., to provide professional pregnancy, childbirth and parenting health education services for expectant fathers and mothers-to-be. Awarded the "Three Good Mommy" Gentle Childbirth Practice Base, which has benefited tens of thousands of pregnant women so far; "Parenting School" has carried out lectures on children's myopia prevention and control, growth and development in kindergartens in the district in a combination of online and offline ways, and provided scientific and rich parenting knowledge for parents in the district through a variety of health promotion activities; "Premarital Classroom" provides premarital health education for newlyweds to prevent birth defects as the first line of defense; "Health Lecture Hall" goes deep into villages, communities, schools, etc., widely disseminate health knowledge and first-aid operation skills.
