The Xinhua News Agency's Sports Department selected the top ten Chinese athletes in 2023 as follows (in alphabetical order):
4. Wen Xiaoyan (female, 26 years old, disabled track and field)
Wen Xiaoyan participated in four competitions at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games, including the women's 100m T37, women's 200m T37, women's long jump T37/38 and 4X100m mixed relay, all of which won gold, including three individual events setting world records and relay events breaking Asian records.
