The struggle in the South China Sea intensified, and Japan handed over long-range surveillance radars to the Philippines

The Philippine Department of Defense recently confirmed that the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and the Philippine military have held a delivery ceremony at Wallace Air Force Base in San Fernando, and Japanese engineers officially handed over the FPS-3/MEs active phased array long-range air surveillance radar system to the Philippine Air Force.

It is also the first time that the Philippines has deployed a long-range air surveillance radar. Last year, the Philippines and Japan signed a contract for the Philippines to purchase four long-range air surveillance radars from Japan, and Japanese engineers also participated in the construction, focusing on a "conscientious seller". In addition, it has been reported that Japan is even preparing to sell "Patriot" missiles to the United States in turn, and this move by the Japanese side is nothing more than to lift the shackles of the "Peace Constitution" on itself in disguise and to develop offensive weapons in a grand manner.

If we want to say that Japan is really "good" to the Philippines, giving it to military ships last year and long-range surveillance radars this year, I have to say that if the United States does not care about it anymore, I am afraid that in a few years, Japan will be eager to export ICBMs to the outside world. After all, Japan's ambitions are not understood by others, but we still understand them.

As a country directly stationed by the United States, Japan does not know what moves it is doing in the field of defense, and it is absolutely impossible for the United States to be unaware of what Japan has done without the acquiescence of the United States.

At present, the situation in the South China Sea, instigated by the United States and troubled by the Philippines, is showing a trend of gradual escalation, and the United States has also specially encouraged Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and France and other countries to enter the situation and jointly support the Philippines in disrupting the South China Sea. It is clear that the struggle in the South China Sea has intensified. The US side has gone to great lengths to create such a big storm in order to carve up China's sovereignty in the South China Sea in addition to staining the strait.

But the United States has some practical dilemmas at the moment. First of all, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict have attracted too much attention from the United States, so that the United States does not have enough strategic resources to intervene in the South China Sea; moreover, the United States is unable to solve many internal problems that it is unable to solve, and it urgently needs China's help, so it was only last month that the Chinese side was kind enough to hold a direct meeting in San Francisco, and it was not easy to talk about some results, and the United States did not dare to excessively provoke China。 The Pentagon also said that the US military is ready to fulfill US President Biden's promises, so the US does not dare to make excessive noises about the situation in the South China Sea at the moment, and is more like a rhetorical addict, and tends to incite allies to cooperate with the Philippines in action.

It is conceivable that when the United States really gets out of its predicament, it will begin to send or increase troops in the South China Sea on a real scale. But at least for the time being, the United States does not dare to act rashly. At this moment, Japan's handing over a long-range surveillance radar to the Philippines before the US military sends troops is tantamount to firing a "dangerous first shot" and actively cooperating with the US ambitions around the South China Sea, and it is also equivalent to allowing the US-backed Philippines to usher in strong reinforcements.

Therefore, in the current situation, it is unrealistic to expect the US to keep its promise and not to disrupt the South China Sea. It is also unlikely that it will restrain Japan, not cooperate with the ambitions of the Philippines, and help it. In the end, to ensure stability in the South China Sea and prevent other countries from contaminating the South China Sea and encroaching on China's sovereignty in the South China Sea, China needs to take action on its own.

Fortunately, in defending sovereignty in the South China Sea, the China Coast Guard has been impeccable, leaving no room for the Philippines to get involved. Although the United States, Japan, and other countries have also provided some practical support to the Philippines, such as Japan giving ships and radars, the gap between the comprehensive strength of the Philippines and China is too large, and the actual level of Japan's military industry is just like that, so it is actually impossible to pose any immediate threat to China.

Moreover, as the Philippines has become more and more indiscriminate in the South China Sea in recent times, the United States and its allies have also shown signs of deepening their efforts to infect the South China Sea, and the PLA Navy and Air Force have recently carried out tasks in the South China Sea, such as driving away warships and aircraft that come to provoke, conducting Xi, and defending the situation in the South China Sea. Obviously, in the face of the situation in the South China Sea, the PLA is ready to go, and the navy and air force are ready to deal with all foreign enemies!
