In his 2019 "One Seat" speech, Zheng Zhi talked about several life-changing things:

In a heavy snowfall, he became attached to literature;

When I was studying in Hong Kong, I bought a gift for my father for the first time, a pair of shoes, but because my father was seriously ill and edematous, he couldn't wear them, so they were invalid;

When he was at a low point, he completed the novel "I Only Care About You", which is based on his father. It was as if the father was in another dimension, in some magical way, and finally caught him again.

After 12 years, the 36-year-old Zheng Zhi re-wrote to color the once vigorous life left in "I Only Care About You". In the preface to the new edition, he says: "This story must be told, and only at the age of twenty-four. Those people, those things, "must be taught", and the time when they were written is irreplaceable.

Su Jinggang, the protagonist of "I Only Care About You", was created by Zheng Zhi based on his father, and the background of the story is in the northeast at the turn of the century. At that time, new things and new opportunities were emerging one after another; the old and old, from the system and ideas, to the street buildings and living Xi, were quietly changing, and people were overwhelmed. In such an era of continuous heating, the original solid and stable civilization of Northeast China is crumbling, everything on which it depends for survival is gradually collapsing, some people are beginning to find a new way out, escape from the ascension to heaven, and some people are left in the same place forever.

This chaotic picture of survival in the market was recorded by Zheng Zhituo, and his father became eternal in literature.
