It is reported that the system first collects the angle of rotation of the steering wheel, and then calculates the torque that needs to be distributed to each wheel based on the collected data. As soon as the vehicle starts moving and the wheels turn, the system uses the reaction force of the ground to the wheels to deflect the steering tie rods, enabling steering without the need for a steering column. According to BYD, the launch of this technology is not intended to replace the steering column, but to bring safety redundancy to users.

2. CATL 5C Kirin battery has a battery life of 400+ in 10 minutes

Previously, the fastest charging battery in CATL was the 4C Kirin battery, and the 5C Kirin battery that was first launched by the ideal MEGA at this auto show is also full of "black technology", which has the characteristics of high energy density and fast charging, bringing longer mileage and faster charging speed to electric vehicles.

According to the introduction of 5C battery by Li Auto, the battery has excellent charging performance on the 800V platform. It has a peak charging power of more than 500kW, a peak current of 700A, and a peak voltage of up to 1000V.

This means that after 9 minutes and 30 seconds of charging, the battery range can be increased by 400 km, and after 12 minutes of charging, the range can be increased by 500 km. Such charging performance undoubtedly brings users a more convenient travel experience.
