Li Zongwei, modern zoologist and veterinary scientist

There was no zoology or veterinary medicine in ancient times in China. Cattle ranching was self-managed: if a fever outbreak broke out, the cattle "fended for themselves." The importance of veterinary medicine and zoology for large-scale modern animal husbandry is obvious.

More than a hundred years ago, there were two Chinese boys in France who were inseparable. At that time, no one in France knew who these two boys were. More than a century has passed and the Chinese still don't know who these two little boys are?

In the 1980s, Ms. Li Yamei, a Chinese democratic revolutionary and feminist pioneer in her 80s, recalled, "At that time, one of the little boys was Li Zongwei, the son of Li Shizeng, one of the four pillars of the Kuomintang." The dates of his birth and death are unknown (according to the author, he may have been born in 1898).

The other little boy was Cai Wuji, Lee Zongwei's shadow.

Who was Cai Wuji? I'm afraid not many people know this, but when it comes to his father, Cai Yuanpei, he's known to more people. Cai Yuanpei was one of the four pillars of the Kuomintang along with Li Shizeng, Zhang Jingjiang and Wu Zhihui. However, his conduct on April 12, 1927 was controversial. Mr. Cai's tenure as President of "Peking University" was widely praised, and his "governance of non-action" was widely recognized. Of course, there are always the few people who don't know him well who question his ability or judge him as a hands-off trader aiming to stay out of trouble. Mr. Cai was fearless and, in the worst-case scenario, could resign. He has resigned a lot and has acquired an aura as a "petitioner for the people".

Cai Yuanpei's son, Cai Wuji (1898-1980), grew up playing with Li Zongwei in France. The two boys had been inseparable since they were young in France. During their childhood and adolescence, they shared the same hobbies, shared the same language, and studied together. They have always been inseparable. That's why people used to call Cai Wuji the shadow of Li Zongwei.

Both were veterinarians by profession. Cai Wuji studied at the French School of Agriculture in the Enter network[1] from 1914 to 1917. Later, he was admitted to the Collège National des Sciences Agronomiques de Grignon and obtained a degree in agricultural engineering in 1919. Influenced by Li Zongwei, Cai Wuji oriented his studies towards veterinary sciences and joined the Maison-Alfort Veterinary School in France, always being the shadow of Li Zongwei. He eventually earned a doctorate in veterinary medicine. It changed his life. In human history, there has been an unsolvable mystery for more than a century: who had driven Cai Wuji to focus his studies on veterinary science? The "minutes" said only: "a certain classmate." More than a hundred years have passed, and who is this classmate? The author finally revealed the mystery: this person is Li Zongwei. It changed Cai Wuji's life and destiny. Later, their lives diverged. Mr. Li Zongwei returned to China after completing his studies and worked as a professor at the "Franco-Chinese University" in Beijing (now the "Beijing Institute of Technology"). Li Zongwei married a beautiful woman named Qi, a graduate of the "Hot Spring College" now known as "Beijing No. 47 College", and gave birth to two sons and a daughter.

Li Zongwei's hobby was always to raise various animals, including bees, silkworms, pigeons, horses: there was hardly any animal that he did not actually raise. During the war of resistance against the Japanese, Li Zongwei's family emigrated to France. Li Zongwei was a son full of filial piety, he treated his mother in France and sought out famous French doctors for it. However, his mother Yao Tongyi, unfortunately did not escape the disease and died quite young in France.

A miracle that marked people both in France and abroad happened in France. Li Zongwei's mother, Yao Tongyi, died in France and at the same time, Li Zongwei's father, Li Shizeng, was busy with his charity work in China and could not attend his wife's funeral. The dean of the French Faculty of Medicine was a good friend of Li Shizeng. He regretted that his friend could not attend his wife's funeral and decided to use medical scientific methods to preserve Yao Tongyi's body for a long time.

This miracle of medical science has continued day after day, year after year. Forty years have passed. Various French media outlets were quick to report that the body of the Chinese woman that had caused a sensation around the world was well preserved. After losing his mother, Li Zongwei and his family remained in France. Li Zongwei often cared for French cattle and pets free of charge. He was a living "Lei Feng" and was known as the "French Lei Feng". For a while, in order to earn a living, Li Zongwei worked as a manager at "Le Mandarin" restaurant, a Chinese restaurant run by Mr. Qian Zhixiang, a French overseas Chinese, in Marseille, a port city in southern France. Mr. Qian Zhixiang is from Xushui, Hebei Province.

In his early years, he was Li Shizeng's secretary. Li Shizeng saw one day that he was young and promising, and made sure to allow him to study in France. Later, Mr. Qian Zhixiang became a successful Chinese businessman in Europe, a famous overseas French leader, and a contributor to "News from Europe". In the 1970s, zoologist and veterinarian Li Zongwei died of illness in France. L

Li Zongwei and his "shadow" Cai Wuji were separated forever. Mr. Cai Wuji returned to China in 1925 and became Dean of the "Agricultural College" of the "Central University" in 1927. In 1929, he was Deputy Director of the "Shanghai Agricultural Products Inspection Institute" and was promoted to Deputy Director and then Director of the "Shanghai Product Inspection Bureau". At the same time, he was the Director of the "Shanghai Veterinary College". In 1941, Cai Wuji was appointed Director of the Central Experimental Institute of Animal Husbandry. After the liberation, Cai Wuji was elected President of the "Chinese Veterinary Livestock Association", later joined the Democratic League of China and was elected as a deputy to the National People's Congress and a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. In 1980, Mr. Cai Wuji, who made outstanding contributions to animal husbandry, veterinary science and zoological education in China, died in Beijing. From that moment on, Li Zongwei's shadow, Cai Wuji, and Li Zongwei reunited in heaven. The two Chinese boys, inseparable in France, were pioneers in introducing modern Western zoology and veterinary medicine to China.

In ancient times, there was no zoology and veterinary medicine. Animal husbandry and breeding "go it alone". Fever broke out, and livestock fended for themselves. The importance of veterinary medicine and zoology to modern large-scale animal husbandry is self-evident. More than 100 years ago, two Chinese boys in France were inseparable. At that time, the French people didn't know who these two little Chinese boys were. More than a century has passed, and the Chinese do not know who these two little boys are? In the 80s of the last century, Ms. Li Yamei, a Chinese democratic revolutionary in her 80s and a pioneer of women's rights, recalled: Back then, one of the little boys was Li Zongwei, who was the son of Li Shizeng, one of the four elders of the Kuomintang. The date of his birth and death is unknown (the author estimates: born in 1898).

Another little boy is Li Zongwei "Shadow" ~ Cai Wuji. Who is Cai Wuji? I'm afraid that not many people know, but if it comes to his father Cai Yuanpei, there are many people who know. Cai Yuanpei was one of the four elders of the Kuomintang alongside Li Shizeng, Zhang Jingjiang, and Wu Zhihui, but his anti-communist performance on April 12, 1927 was controversial. Mr. Cai's tenure as president of the "Beijing University" has been widely praised, and he has been widely praised for his "rule by inaction", although there are also a few "ignorant people" who question his ability or become a "hands-off shopkeeper" in order to "save trouble". Mr. Cai is fearless and resigns. There are many resignations, and there is an aura of "petitioning for the people". Cai Yuanpei's son Cai Wuji (1998~1980) grew up with Li Zongwei in France since he was a child, and the two boys have been inseparable in France since childhood.

Even two people are veterinarians by profession. From 1914 to 1917, Cai Wuji studied at the Agricultural School of Onte in France. He was admitted to the Ecole Nationale de Grenon in France, where he obtained a degree as an agricultural engineer in 1919. Under the influence of Li Zongwei, Cai Wuji changed his studies to veterinary science and re-entered the Alfort Veterinary School in France. Continue to be the "shadow" of Lee Chong Wei. He received a doctorate in veterinary medicine. It changed my life. In human history, a mystery that has been unsolvable for more than a century: who influenced Cai Wuji to change his studies to veterinary science? The written record only says: a certain classmate. More than 100 years have passed, who is this classmate? The author finally revealed the mystery: this person is Li Zongwei. changed the fate of Cai Wuji's life. Later, the trajectory of their lives changed. Mr. Li Zongwei returned to China after completing his studies and became a professor at the "Sino-French University" (the predecessor of "Beijing Institute of Technology") in Peking (Beijing). Li Zongwei married a beautiful woman surnamed Qi, the former of "Beijing 47 Middle School", the school flower of "Hot Spring Middle School", and gave birth to two sons and one daughter.

Li Zongwei still continues his hobby ~ raising and breeding all kinds of animals, from bees, silkworms, pigeons, to horses, there are almost no that are not raised. During the Anti-Japanese War, Li Zongwei's family immigrated to France, Li Zongwei was a filial son, treated his mother in France, and searched for famous doctors in France. However, Li's mother Yao Tongyi did not escape the illness and died young in France. A miracle that shocked China and the rest of the world took place in France. In that year, Li's mother Yao Tongyi died in France, when Li's father Li Shi was busy with his public welfare undertakings in China and could not be separated from his wife to mourn. The dean of the French medical school was a good friend of Li Shizeng, and the dean regretted that his friend could not mourn his wife, so the dean decided to use medical science techniques to preserve Yao Tongyi's body for a long time. The miracle of medical science continues day after day, year after year. Forty years have passed. In France, various media rushed to report that the remains of Chinese women, who caused a sensation all over the world, were well preserved. After losing his mother, Lee Chong Wei's family stayed in France. Li Zongwei often treats French livestock and pets for free, and the whole live Lei Feng is known as "French Lei Feng". For a period of time, in order to make a living, Li Zongwei worked as the manager of the "Majestic Hotel" in Marseille, a port city in southern France, and the Zhonghua Hotel run by Mr. Qian Zhixiang, an overseas Chinese in France. Mr. Qian Zhixiang is a native of Xushui, Hebei. In his early years, he was Li Shizeng's secretary. Li Shi once saw that he was young and promising, regarded him as a young man, and used a special way to let Qian go straight to study in France. Later, Mr. Qian Zhixiang became a successful overseas Chinese businessman in Europe. Famous French overseas Chinese leader. Contributor to the European Times. In the seventies of the last century, Li Zongwei, a zoologist and veterinary scientist, died of illness in France. Li Zongwei and his "shadow" Cai Wuji are forever separated. In 1929, he served as the deputy director of the "Shanghai Agricultural Products Inspection Institute", and was promoted to the deputy director and director of the "Shanghai Commodity Inspection Bureau".
