The reporter learned on the 22nd that a large-scale original burlesque "Booming Day" will connect the two intangible cultural heritages, through the historical changes of a dim sum shop and the entanglement of the fate of two families for generations, connecting the development history of Shanghai Nanxiang Xiaocang for more than 100 years, telling the past and present of traditional food.

Nanxiang Xiaolong is known for its thin skin, tender meat, juicy, delicious taste and beautiful shape, also known as "Nanxiang Xiaolongbao" and "Nanxiang Xiaolong Mantou", today, Nanxiang Xiaolong has become a national intangible cultural heritage, and its production skills have been successfully selected as national traditional noodle making techniques. It is understood that the Nanxiang Xiaocage making technique was born in the tenth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1871 AD), and Huang Mingxian, the owner of Rihuaxuan dim sum shop in Nanxiang Town, adopted the method of "heavy filling and thin skin, to change the big from the small" to the big meat steamed buns. He uses unfermented refined flour as skin, hand-chopped filling of pork leg lean meat and meat jelly. Because the filling is a secret recipe, the production skill has always been passed down between master and apprentice.

In 1958, Guyi Garden resumed the operation of Nanxiang Xiaolong steamed buns, and the fifth generation of Feng Rongquan improved the production process, so that Nanxiang Xiaolong returned to the table of ordinary people. In 2000, the sixth generation of Li Jiangang formulated the standards and specifications of the technique, with clear standards for selection, recipes, stirring and even kneading and rolling noodles. Today, Nanxiang Xiaolong is not only a gourmet business card of Shanghai, but also a proud national brand, favored by Chinese and foreign food lovers.

It is understood that "Booming Day" is a large-scale original burlesque planned and created to celebrate the 45th anniversary of reform and opening up and welcome the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The main creative lineup of the play is strong: burlesque artist Wang Rugang as artistic consultant, burlesque playwright Liang Dingdong as literary consultant, national first-class actor and laughing star Pan avant-garde leading the starring, director of the Chinese Opera Directors Society and laughing star Shu Yue as the director, Yi Tianfu, vice president of the China Stage Art Society and professor of Shanghai Theater Academy, is responsible for the stage lighting design, co-starring laughing stars Chen Liang and Xue Wenbin, and burlesque artists Wang Rugang, Gong Renlong and Zhang Guoqing are special guest starring.

Pan Qianwei, the chief producer of "Booming Day", said in an interview with reporters on the 22nd that the burlesque "Booming Day" hopes to let the audience experience the fate of different eras in a relaxed and humorous way. The play shows the history of Nanxiang Xiaoceng's creation, destruction, tree and casting of cards through art, and praises the craftsmanship, struggle and innovation spirit adhered to by the intangible inheritors. It is reported that the whole play takes the promotion of traditional Chinese virtues as the background, reflecting the picture of the rapid change of society and the prosperity of people's lives under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, while advocating more national enterprises to integrate Chinese cultural elements into brand building. Pan Qianwei said: "Dim sum dim sum is conscience; Small cages and small cages are close to the hearts of the people. ”

It is understood that burlesque, also known as "one-legged opera", is a genre of opera gradually formed in Shanghai from the late Qing Dynasty to the middle of the Anti-Japanese War, when Shanghai's opera "one-man opera" accepted the influence of Chinese and foreign comedies, farces and local operas in Jiangnan. It is popular in many areas of Shanghai, Jiangsu Province, and Zhejiang Province. Its traditional repertoire preserves the folk customs of Shanghai and the unique secular customs of the "Ten Mile Ocean Field", and the creative method is very characteristic of the Shanghai School. As a local traditional drama in Shanghai and its surrounding Wu-speaking areas, burlesque is now among the ranks of national intangible cultural heritage.

How does traditional burlesque attract the attention of young people? Shu Yue, who directed the play, revealed that "Booming" will break the traditional routine of burlesque and add elements such as opera gongs and drums, pop songs and so on. In his opinion, for tasting xiaolongbao and watching burlesque, the most important thing is delicate and evocative. Wang Rugang, who serves as an art consultant and was invited to star in "Booming Day", revealed that he looked through dozens of books on the skills of Nanxiang Xiaolong, trying to explore "the university question in Xiaolong".

Nanxiang Town belongs to Jiading District, Shanghai and is one of the four historical towns in Shanghai. As early as the fourth year of Liang Tianjian in the Southern Dynasty (505 AD), the White Crane Nanxiang Temple was built, named after the temple. At the same time as the launch of "Booming", Nanxiang Town signed a cooperation and co-construction agreement with Shanghai One-legged Opera Art Heritage Center (Shanghai People's Burlesque Troupe), cooperating in three aspects: the construction of a Shanghainese teaching base, the establishment of Shanghai's "Laughing World" - Nanxiang Station, and the addition of Shanghainese electronic tour guides for Nanxiang scenic spots. "Shanghai Laughing World" Nanxiang Station was inaugurated. It is understood that in the future, the two sides will also use burlesque art as a link to carry out more in-depth exchanges and cooperation in the inheritance of Shanghainese language, dialect protection, cultural promotion and other aspects, so as to make due contributions to the further prosperity of Shanghai culture and Jiangnan culture.
