Recently, Japan once again submitted a proposal to the United Nations calling on all countries to abolish nuclear weapons. It is reported that the 150 member states of the United Nations voted for it at the first time, giving Japan the final victory. However, it is important to note that each proposal goes through multiple rounds of procedures before it becomes final law, so the proposal is not currently substantially binding. The outside world is not optimistic about this proposal, after all, the vote of the five permanent members is ultimately required. Some experts said that Japan's repeated proposals for a "nuclear ban" are not out of peaceful considerations, but out of its own selfish interests. The current world order is partly determined by the outcome of World War II, so Japan remains restrained. Therefore, Japan is trying to break the rights of the P5 and seek opportunities for its development of the arms industry in order to reduce its dependence on the United States.
