Ding Li is a group writer at the Hangzhou Workers' Cultural Palace. Contact with the Municipal Workers' Cultural Palace was a complete accident.

After graduating from university, Ding Li worked as a music teacher at a school.
By chance, he participated in the "Foreign Entrepreneur Singer Competition" organized by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and finally won the second place in the final. It was this time of chance that he came into contact with the teachers of the Cultural Palace who had worked hard behind the scenes. The tired faces of the teachers were filled with smiles of "hard work and happiness", which deeply touched Ding Li at that time.
The following year, Ding Li used his summer vacation to participate in the 100 literary and artistic performances of the Hangzhou Municipal Staff Art Troupe, and the comrades of the Cultural Palace braved the scorching heat and went deep into the grassroots. While deeply appreciating "hard work and happiness", I had the idea of becoming a front-line literary and art worker.
After two examinations, I finally entered the Palace of Culture in 12 years. This year, Ding Li was 27 years old.
Also in this year, Ding Li was watching the movie "The Great Cause of Party Building", and an audience member on the side whispered: "The average age of the 13 deputies is only 27 years old." It was the words he overheard that made him feel uneasy.
At the age of 27, the young pioneers of our party are pursuing "overthrowing the old world and building a new China." At the age of 27, what should I pursue in the Palace of Culture? ”
In 1950, Marshal Chen Yi gladly inscribed that the Workers' Cultural Palace was "a school and paradise for workers". This is in line with the central task of "organizing trade unions and educating workers and leading the workers' movement" determined by the CCP's "First Congress." Then, Ding Li's desire to "dedicate artistic youth and serve the masses of workers" in the Workers' Cultural Palace is his lifelong pursuit.
Ding Li will not forget the smile of "hard work and happiness"; he will not forget the thirteen "big" deputies of the CPC who have an average age of 27 years. On the road of pursuit, with the help of leaders and comrades, he slowly moved from infancy to maturity, and also gloriously became a Communist Party member.
Wrought iron must be its own. In order to improve himself, Ding Li went to Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou to visit vocal music expert Pan Naixian and vocal pedagogue Ma Jianhua, and asked Professor Ding Yi and other teachers. Through his efforts, he won the "Stars Award" of the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, the Gold Medal of the Bel Canto Group of the Zhejiang Qunwen Vocal Music Competition, and the Gold Medal of the Bel Canto Group of the "Sanjiang Singers" Vocal Competition of Hangzhou.
In 2014, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions opened the "Hangzhou GongXuetang" to achieve online and offline all-round cultural training needs of Hangzhou employees, and now it has become an important cultural brand for trade unions for employees, and Ding Li has the unshirkable responsibility to open vocal music public welfare courses for grass-roots employees. During the epidemic in 2020, Ding Li brought the vocal music course of "Hangzhou Gongxuetang" to the cloud, while creating and participating in the recording of a number of public welfare anti-epidemic songs, and published them in 11 media such as "Learning to Strengthen the Country". To help the "anti-epidemic", it also shows the original intention and pursuit of group writers.
In the 10 years since stepping into the Palace of Culture, Ding Li has gone deep into the grassroots, making a large number of vocal music lovers become literary and artistic leaders in various industries, serving as art directors for dozens of enterprises and institutions; directing nearly 10 comprehensive evenings. I am particularly proud that in 2019, Ding Li served as the general director and directed the "City Investment Group Large-scale Chorus Competition" successfully held at the Hangzhou Grand Theatre, bringing beauty to more than 1,700 employees.
At present, Ding Li is a member of the Provincial Music Association and the deputy secretary-general of the Provincial Singers Art Troupe, but I have never forgotten that I am an ordinary group writer at the Hangzhou Workers' Cultural Palace.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Palace of Culture, and I am grateful for the two accidents. Once he got to know the Workers' Palace of Culture. Once made him understand the pursuit of a lifetime. Ding Li cherishes and is proud that when he was 27 years old, he firmly pursued and dreamed of " dedicating artistic youth and serving the masses of workers" unswervingly.
In addition to actively engaging in the work he loves, Ding Li also uses his spare time to be a singing practitioner, build a communication platform for regular exchanges, open vocal salons and other activities, and communicate with young singers; regularly invite industry experts to guide in the studio, pass on the pulse, and flow in the stream; use his studio to provide free recording studio experience for staff vocal lovers; create and produce music works to carry forward the positive energy of society; and provide young literary and art workers with suitable temperature and humidity soil.
