At 9 a.m., as the starting gun sounded, the competitors rushed out of the starting line, and the spectators on the sidelines continued to cheer and shout, and the tin mine was instantly enveloped in a warm atmosphere. Both the mountaineering and hiking groups started from Yangguling Diaolou Square and ended at the Two Mountains Ecological Square, but the route and length of the track were different. The mountaineering track is 11.57 km long, while the hiking track is 8.4 km.
The track surrounds the entire mining area, and runners can enjoy a variety of ecological scenery along the way. From a bird's eye view, the stone forest of "10,000 horses galloping" and the sea of roses of the "Aegean Sea" are very shocking, attracting tourists to stop and watch.
After the competition, Xiao Qi won the men's mountaineering championship with a time of 42 minutes and 3 seconds, while Li Xinyi and Gan Shunjiang won the second and third places respectively. The women's mountaineering championship was won by Zhang Ni with a time of 50 minutes and 52 seconds, and the runner-up and third places were Cao Wenlin and Zhu Longfei.
It is understood that tin mines rank first in the world because of their antimony resource reserves, antimony product output and antimony product quality, and are also the world's largest antimony product trading and research and development base, known as the "world's antimony capital" reputation. In the past, due to more than a century of extensive mineral extraction, the underground resources of tin mines were almost depleted. Nowadays, after years of treatment, the appearance of tin mines has been renewed, forming a "mining area scenery" with regional cultural characteristics.
