I accidentally learned that in Baili Village, Yanshou Town, Changping, there is an ancient temple, Pumen Temple, specially came here to visit, only to find that the temple door was closed, asked the local villagers, said that it is usually not open, although the temple can not enter, but the small village of Lily Village is impressed!
Baili Village, located on the central axis north of Tiananmen Square in Beijing, covers an area of 10.2 square kilometers, is a small village surrounded by mountains, a clear stream around the village, surrounded by peaks and pine forests, quite a bit of posthumous and independent charm!
Bomen Temple is one of the cultural landscapes in the village, no more records of the temple have been found, according to the inscription of the Kangxi period in the temple, Pumen Temple was originally called Guanyinan: "Guanyinan ancient temple, fifty miles away from the prefecture, located in Bo Gezhuang ..., the stele has the name of the donor benevolent, many mottled and unrecognizable, Note: The original name of Lily Village was Bo Ge Zhuang!
The temple that has not entered, after all, is a little unwilling, along the parking lot path next to the temple to the small hill bag behind the temple, although you can't see the temple, but you can overlook the village landscape, there are many palm-sized pine mushrooms under the pine trees, known locally as oil mushrooms, and there are large pieces of shingles, swaying with the wind, very good-looking!
The signs in the village introduce that the local natural landscapes include Jingbei Buddha, Wolong Mountain, Hutou Mountain, Jiulian Camel, Toad Mouth, Temple Stone, Palanquin Stone, Moon Stone, etc., through the village to look for one by one, most of them can only be understood, but the mountain range below really looks like a peaceful reclining Buddha!
At the end of the village, I accidentally found a sign in Lily Valley, the stones under the big characters looked a lot like stalactites, so I decided to explore the valley, this should be an abandoned mining pit, there are many strange shaped stones, a large area of kudzu is overwhelming luxuriant, walking along the valley for more than two kilometers, the weeds are getting higher and higher, plus attracted by the mushrooms in the pine forest next to the road, did not continue to move forward, the hiking gods can come to explore the road!
Although I was attracted by the mushroom picking, I didn't look for it carefully, but I still harvested two favorite stones to make ornaments!
There are also Wenzhu Academy and Village History Museum founded by Mr. Zhao Wenzhu in the village, but unfortunately this trip has not been opened, which is also a pity!
It is worth mentioning that the Wangbai Road to Lily Village, the road is 9.883 kilometers long, is a section of the "Tour China Challenge • Beijing Changping Circuit", not only has an observation deck, but also a tunnel, along the way peaks and mountains, strange peaks and rocks, many fitness cycling enthusiasts are also the scenery of Wangbai Road!
On the way back, I met a bunch of pumpkin beans sold by local villagers, and my aunt also thoughtfully reminded that the oil mushrooms must be eaten with the skin removed, it was really a harvest day!
Friends who come here can navigate Lily Village, there are homestays and restaurants in the village, but unlike the villages full of homestays, there is still a pristine interest preserved here, and friends who want to find an idyllic scenery can come here!
Friendly reminder: In addition to pine forests, Lily Village also has a large chestnut garden, chestnuts are an important source of income for locals, please do not pick them at will!
