In March 2023, in accordance with the Charter of the Chinese Institute of Worker Intelligence and the Measures for the Evaluation of Fellow of the Society of Chinese Intelligence, the Society launched the nomination of candidates for the Association of Chinese Intelligence. After the procedures of nomination of members of the society, review by the office of the Fellow Evaluation Committee, deliberation, voting and publicity of the Fellow Evaluation Expert Committee, Academician Chen Junlong, Professor Zheng Qinghua, Professor Wu Fei, Professor Tao Jianhua, Dr. Yan Weipeng, Professor Sun Changyin, Professor Peng Yuxin, Dr. Liu Cong, and 8 outstanding scientific and technological workers in the field of AI were elected CAAI Fellows. The Society would like to congratulate the members who have received this award!
In 2017, the Chinese Society established the first fellowship mechanism, aiming to recognize a group of members who have outstanding achievements in the field of artificial intelligence and have made significant contributions to the society, and further encourage the members of the society to continue to climb the peak of science and technology. Fellowship is the highest academic honor for members, and 119 Fellows have been selected by the Society as of this year.

He was the vice president of Google China Engineering Research Institute. As the leader of JD.com's retail technology, Yan Weipeng led a technical team of about 6,000 people, covering AI, big data, search recommendation, advertising, business middle office, risk control and front-end and other comprehensive technology sectors, single-handedly created JD.com's advertising business that has grown 100 times in 8 years, created a strong user growth and marketing ecology for JD.com, comprehensively promoted the digital and intelligent upgrading of retail business, and effectively supported the rapid growth of retail business and user scale.
