Cryopreservation methods for okra
Before freezing okra, it is recommended to "remove fine hairs" and "peel off the stems" before freezing them, so that it will be more convenient to cook.
Step 1: Place the okra in batches on a cutting board, sprinkle with a small amount of salt and roll the okra with your hands to remove the fine hairs.
Step 2: Cut off some of the top of the okra tip, and then cut off the black circle under the stem. Then quickly wash the okra and dry it with a paper towel.
Step 3: Put okra into a fresh-keeping clip bag that can be frozen, try to drain the air in the bag and seal the mouth of the bag, put it in the refrigerator to freeze, it is recommended to put it on the top to avoid crushing, it can be stored for about 1 month. You don't need to de-ice before cooking, just use it directly, but if you want to cut into sections or cut into small pieces, please de-ice at room temperature for about 1~2 minutes before cutting.
