As a new compliance policy for ChatGPT in China, the Measures clarify the support and encouragement attitude for the generative AI industry, and put forward relevant requirements from the algorithm design and filing, training data and models of generative AI service providers, to the protection of user privacy, trade secrets, supervision and inspection and legal liability, etc., which better balance the management requirements of prudent compliance and the development needs of encouraging marketization at the level of principle and system, and provide better flexible support for the market.
