  The Chinese Veterinary Laboratory is mainly engaged in the teaching and scientific research of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. In terms of teaching, it mainly undertakes the teaching tasks of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, veterinary acupuncture and veterinary traditional Chinese medicine.

  The main research direction of scientific research

  1. Diagnosis and prevention of livestock and poultry diseases.

  2. Chinese herbal medicine regulates the immune function of animals.

  The research projects that the laboratory has completed or are in progress have been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science and Technology Support Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Public Welfare Industry Scientific Research Project of the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Key R&D Project, the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Department, the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Hangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the International Science Foundation (IFS) and relevant enterprises and institutions. This laboratory has conventional instruments and equipment for extraction and isolation of Chinese herbal medicines, immunological experiments, cytology experiments, and dairy udder diagnosis. Cultivating talents for the country is one of the main tasks of this laboratory.
