According to the unified arrangement of the Municipal Agricultural and Rural Committee, from March 16 to 19, the Seventh Research Group of the Municipal Agricultural and Rural Committee, under the leadership of Chen Hongyue, deputy director of the Chongqing Animal Husbandry Technology Promotion Station and chief expert of the pig industry technology system innovation team, successively went to Wanzhou, Fengdu, Fuling and Tongnan districts and counties to conduct special research on forage planting and ecological and efficient breeding.

During this period, the research team successively visited chongqing nongzhen agricultural group co., LTD. in Wanzhou District, Chongqing Mubang Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., Chongqing Starden Pig Breeding Professional Cooperative, and other pig farms under construction, Chongqing Lifeng Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. Quxi Pig Fengdu Bao Breeding Farm in Fengdu County and Chongqing Nongtou Meat Food Co., Ltd. in Fengdu County Shuren Town, Chongqing Liyan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. and other building-type pig farms under construction, Chongqing Jiaxin Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. and Tongnan Wenshi Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. in Tongnan District.

At the district and county forums, representatives of animal husbandry departments and agricultural enterprises in various districts and counties made detailed reports on the stable resumption of pig production, forage planting and utilization, utilization of livestock and poultry manure resources, animal husbandry informatization, slaughtering and processing, animal husbandry scientific and technological innovation, quality and safety inspection, animal disease prevention and control, and consumption and trade, and made targeted suggestions on the basis of the current situation, profoundly searched for the main problems that existed, and put forward targeted suggestions. Subsequently, Deputy Station Director Chen Hongyue highly affirmed the results achieved by the research areas and counties in the work of resuming pig production, livestock and poultry breeding resources, and the prevention and control of African swine fever last year, and pointed out that the municipal party committee and the municipal agricultural and rural committee attach great importance to the good start and good start of animal husbandry development during the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" period, and hope that the animal husbandry departments of all districts and counties will listen to the opinions and suggestions of farm households with a rigorous and responsible attitude and a rigorous and meticulous style, and effectively solve the problem that the quality and efficiency of farm household development are not high, and the ability to resist risks is not strong. Practical difficulties and problems such as the huge pressure of epidemic prevention and control have made every effort to promote the high-quality development of animal husbandry in our city.

Finally, on the basis of this field inspection, visit, exchange and discussion, Deputy Director Chen Hongyue put forward suggestions and opinions in five aspects for the current main work and existing problems of animal husbandry in various districts and counties: First, we must do a good job in the recovery and stable production of pigs, strengthen the formulation of pork supply guarantee plans, further promote the implementation of pig recovery and stable production and supply work, and promote the implementation of policies such as breeding land, environmental impact assessment approval, and financial guarantees, so as to ensure that pig production capacity is restored to the perennial level. Second, to promote the balanced development of grass and livestock, it is necessary to actively develop the cattle and sheep industry in accordance with the No. 1 document this year, further promote the development of the forage industry in Chongqing, formulate measures for the balanced utilization of grass and livestock, and at the same time make good use of local breed resources such as "Yudong Black Goat" and carefully cultivate brand creation. Third, we must attach importance to the resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure, further enhance the awareness of ecological protection, scientifically standardize the resource treatment of livestock and poultry manure, continue to promote the combination of breeding and breeding with ecological breeding, advocate and encourage the use of organic fertilizer, and promote the breeding cycle model of pulling the front end from the use end. Fourth, to ensure the biosecurity of livestock and poultry, in the case of the normalization of African swine fever, it is necessary to further improve the biosecurity management system of pig farms, strengthen the technical and management training of relevant personnel, implement the zoning prevention and control strategy, and ensure the biosecurity protection barrier. Fifth, we must do a good job in scientific and technological innovation, further strengthen the role of animal husbandry technology support institutions in industrial scientific and technological innovation, rely on national and municipal agricultural industry technology system innovation teams and scientific research institutes, build a platform for industry-university-research-promotion cooperation and innovation, carry out research and technology integration around current major issues, and enhance the scientific and technological innovation capabilities of the animal husbandry industry.
