"Diary of a Dragon Walk" front and back pull: widely refers to the specification expression in certain movements of martial arts

author:Chinese Martial Arts Culture Network

[Gong Xingyi Diary] Front support and back pull: Broadly refers to the specification expression in certain movements of martial arts, the interaction between the front and back forces, and the stretch of tension and curvature. For example, a basic example: lunge punch, whether it is the lunge of the lower plate, or the upper body fist + punching action, are expressing the trend of "front support and back pull".

Rush out of this punch to try to penetrate forward as much as possible, there is a continuous effort to hold forward; the fist at the waist, not only the fist and elbow close to the waist, and the elbow try to top backwards, the fist tries to pull backwards; both the front fist and the back elbow feel the force of being pulled by both ends. At this time, the eyes are looking straight ahead, and the stretching performance of the entire torso is also a punch and a combination of twisting the waist and shoulders to lengthen the hit point to play the advantage of "one inch long and one inch stronger".

Lunge, the step should be stable, there are "first look at a step to walk, then look at a stretch"; "punching is easy, walking is difficult"; "unstable step is chaotic, step is not fast, fist is slow", and so on, footwork plays an important role in martial arts travel. The basic essentials of lunge: commonly known as "front leg bow, hind leg pedal". Specifically, the front legs are bent and bowed forward, the thighs are close to level (or oblique to the ground), the knees do not exceed the tiptoes; the hind legs are naturally straight, the heels are abducted, and the toes are obliquely forward by about 45 degrees. The lateral distance between the feet is about 10-30 cm. The bow leg is real, and the pedal leg is virtual. The virtual and real proportion of the two legs sharing the weight is: the front legs bear 2/3, and the hind legs bear about 1/3 (commonly known as the first seven and the last three). As the Theory of Fist says, "Reality is not completely standing, there is virtuality in reality; there is nothingness in reality, and there is reality in reality." The left foot is called the left lunge in front and the right foot is called the right lunge in front. In terms of direction, there are forward lunges and oblique lunges (also called oblique lunges). The former is formed by the front step, and the latter is formed by the lateral step. The most common mistakes are: (1) The front legs are not bent, and the legs are close to standing upright. (2) The heel of the back pedal cannot be pedaled, the hind leg is too bent, and the phenomenon of "lifting the foot" and "pulling the heel". (3) The distance between the two feet is too narrow, even stepping on a straight line, or crossing and walking back and forth, resulting in "walking tightrope" and "twisting twist", and the body is twisted and shaken. This front leg is solid, which is the performance of "front bracing", and the extension of the hind leg, the foot grasping the ground is a "back pull" drag force, and it must be stable.

"Diary of a Dragon Walk" front and back pull: widely refers to the specification expression in certain movements of martial arts

Front bracing and pulling back is the above interpretation in the use of martial arts movements, while in ideology, it is necessary to face the "front bracing and pulling back" with positive thinking. That is to say, before and after the year must be taken into account, cautiously, and carefully considered. Can't fight forward, just think about playing out, but also think about how to support the back, front support and back pull in the arm action is not only a punch in front, but also a person at the top of the elbow, there is a relative increase in strength, relatively standardized movements, relatively beautiful expression. Similarly, if the hind legs of the lunge are not stretched and pulled back to support the ground, the strength of the front leg arch will also be weakened. Therefore, through the thinking practice of the front bracing and pulling action, it will inevitably expand the thinking and control ability in the practice of physical practice.
