The Blazers lacked Lillard, Grant, Nurkic, Simmons, Winslow, Reddish, Keon Johnson, Alchidiakono and Bagie, and the Kings lacked Delavedova, Ellis and Kota. The Kings trailed 7-4 at the start of the first quarter, and the Kings went on a 6-0 offensive run to take the lead, Seibl hit a three-pointer, and Sabonis Jr. and Watford scored two points each. Murray and Huert each hit a three-pointer, Mays and Eubanks hit an inside shot, Sabonis Jr. made a layup, and Little made a three-pointer to catch up with a one-point difference. The Kings went on a 7-2 run to extend their lead, with Sharp hitting a three-pointer, the Kings scoring four straight points, and Harrison hitting a three-pointer. Monk hit a 3-pointer and Fox for a layup to give the Kings a 36-27 lead over the Blazers at the end of the first quarter.

The Blazers opened the second quarter with an 8-4 offensive run to chase points, with Fox scoring four straight points and Mays hitting a three-pointer against Lyles. The Blazers went on a 7-2 run to chase the gap by four points, Sabonis Jr. blocked Eubanks and Monk for 3-pointers, the Blazers hit 3 of 5 free throws, and Huert hit a 3-pointer. Eubanks chased 2+1 points, the Kings scored four straight points, the Blazers also chased four straight points, Huert hit a three-pointer, and Sharp hit a shot. The Trail Blazers started the final quarter with Sharp's leadership blossoming inside and out, playing a 14-6 run to chase the gap by seven points. Eubanks hit a layup, Sabonis Jr. dunked Eubanks, Murray dunked, Sabonis Jr. dunked again, and Mitchell hit a layup. The Kings extended their 20+ lead to seal the win, losing the suspense early into garbage time, and eventually the Kings sent the Blazers to a 5-game losing streak.
