According to the official news of Aston Villa, Villa assistant coach and Chelsea star John Terry confirmed that he has left the position of assistant coach of Villa and will seek a future manager position, after which he has been associated with West Brom and Bristol City.

Terry said in an interview: "It's been a great honor for me to spend these three years at Aston Villa, but I feel that now is the best time to make the decision to leave this difficult decision. I want to respect everyone at the manager and Aston Villa as much as possible and I've seriously considered my future this summer and I really feel it's unfair to go into a new season without completing my goals. ”

"My plan now is to have a great time with my family, after which I hope to be invited to visit clubs and coaches across Europe in order to develop my goal of becoming a manager. It has always been my dream to enter the management of a football club as long as the right opportunities arise and I feel like I am ready to take on such a challenge. ”

"I would like to thank Christian Paslow and our bosses, Wes Edens and Nassef Saveris, for their trust in me and for giving me this opportunity. I am very grateful to Dean for his support and guidance, and I am sure he will continue to lead Villa to grow and move forward. Finally, I would also like to thank all the players and staff for wishing them all the best in the season ahead and a heartfelt thank you to the Aston Villa fans for their support. ”
