Affected by rainfall, 69 municipalities in Peru have entered a state of emergency

Affected by the recent rainy weather, the Peruvian government announced on March 19, local time, that 69 cities, including the capital Lima, entered a 60-day state of emergency to take urgent and necessary measures for post-disaster reconstruction. Peru's National Emergency Operations Centre has provided 231 tonnes of emergency relief supplies to local governments in the affected areas.
