He studied in the first experimental class of senior engineering talents (electrical information) of Central South University. In 2016, he went to the University of California, Berkeley for joint training.
During his time at the university, he won more than 40 international and national awards and honorary titles at all levels, and continued to engage in student work and club work, serving as the director of the Outreach Department of the Student Union, the director of the Academic Science and Technology Center of the Student Union, and the president of the Graduate Student Union. As the project leader and main finisher, he has completed a total of 18 national, provincial and school-level innovation and entrepreneurship projects. At the same time, he has set up an excellent campus science and technology innovation team of more than 50 people to engage in the research and development and marketing of intelligent systems and intelligent applications in campus scenes.
Li Xin was selected as Huawei's "top" plan in 2020, and has now joined Huawei's cloud core network product line, engaged in technology commercialization layout planning and key card slot technology point research in the fields of 5G communications, edge computing, and connected intelligent driving.
01 Tackling tough problems and working hard - chasing the light of scientific research with struggle
Li Xin's academic path is inseparable from scientific research. From the end of 2016 to the beginning of 2019, he went to California to study, and joined many of Berkeley's top laboratories in the world's cutting-edge research, Internet of Vehicles, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.

"Research is always painful and happy." Long-term exploration and tackling of tough problems, inevitably encountered setbacks and difficulties, Li Xin often experienced suffering and pain, but when he led the team to explore new directions and ideas, or make breakthrough progress, Li Xin can be like a new life, out of the pain. The specific harvest is the sense of achievement that comes with it, the "olive branch" thrown by many Fortune 500 companies such as Huawei, and the insight into global technological innovation trends and strategic investment in the field of intelligent computing and intelligent vehicles in the strategy department of Huawei Group, but more importantly, it is a sense of mission of perseverance and continuous pursuit of goals.
Li Xin's excellent resume did not make Li Xin proud, he claimed to be a small gear in the team, and this "small gear" played a big role. Li Xin not only completed the tasks of the project excellently, during the scientific research, he also played a role in coordinating team members and assigning tasks, so that teammates performed their duties, and each person played the best place, so that the team efficiency was maximized and time was minimized. It is precisely because of Li Xin's excellent organizational ability that during his doctoral studies, as the project leader of the research project, he led the team to achieve important technological innovation breakthroughs in the direction of real-time resource scheduling and allocation algorithm, intelligent networked vehicle solution based on edge computing, and edge intelligent perception in the direction of real-time resource scheduling and allocation algorithm in the mobile edge computing scenario.

"I'm always idle, like I'm losing a lot of fun without learning something or doing something." Out of a strong interest in scientific research, Li Xin often enjoys it, which is also the driving force for his continuous progress in scientific research work, "Learning and scientific research life cannot be said to be bitter and happy, because as long as you find the interest, it is not bitter, you can plunge into it." Li Xin regards the promotion of scientific research results and the landing of technology as his mission, pouring out his light and heat and dedicating himself.
The spirit of scientific research is the spirit of never accepting defeat, the convenient scientific research platform, the excellent predecessors and teachers, are the "giant shoulders" given to us by the times, and it is precisely because of the "ascetics" on the road of scientific research like Li Xin, who dedicates their youth in the laboratory, and they have no complaints and no regrets, promoting the continuous innovation of science and technology.
02 Take a step forward - use responsibility to set the tone for the work
Walking out of the campus, he has the friendship of classmates and is full of student work experience; when he enters the society and joins Huawei for the first time, he unites the team calmly and calmly. Every step of the footprint is stamped with medals for Li Xin's little development.
"My personality is more extroverted, so I'm very active in dealing with other people." Taking his extroverted personality as the starting point, Li Xin took steps and took on a number of important positions in student work at the student stage. For him, the bits and pieces of the docking and coordination work in the memories are now all calm in the work. Talking about the original intention of doing student work, his words are always inseparable from "communication" and "service", meeting and working with more excellent students is communication; using their own work to discipline themselves is service. Li Xin and the excellent friends around him learn from each other's strengths, and between conversations, the spark of ideas colliding, lighting up the lamp, illuminating more people, for him, the responsibility lies in this. The good friends I met are not scattered now, and the friendships I have gained are still fresh, some from classmates to colleagues, and some will still lend a hand when needed. Spring to autumn, little by little, is a record of classmate friendship, is a witness to the growth of responsibility.
"Since I joined the company, one is that the sense of mission and responsibility is getting stronger and stronger, and the other is that the requirements for myself have become more and more stringent." The clear mental journey records Li Xin's gradually growing sense of responsibility, and the requirements for himself are becoming more and more stringent with the increase of working hours and the increase of teamwork on work tasks. As the years passed, he was still the Li Xin who dared to take a step and step out of his comfort zone. Participating in a large number of activities such as the global cutting-edge technology report exchange meeting and the industrial application exhibition, and going to Fudan and other universities for exchange and learning, Li Xin exercised and improved his ability step by step. According to the national policy, walk in the forefront of the needs of the country and society, according to the development trend of science and technology in the world, walk on the main channel of scientific research work; next, it is more important to continuously improve their own quality and value, to be able to insist on taking steps, out of the small circle of classmates and campuses, and to put the vision and pattern more long-term and broader. ”
"Customer-centric, strivers-oriented, long-term adherence to hard work, adhere to self-criticism", Huawei's core values have always been Li Xin's work attitude, and at the same time, this is also the best portrayal of his attitude of struggle to depict the future. For the future, Li Xin's plan is to parallel scientific research and work, and see him carrying responsibility, sonorous and powerful to take one vigorous step after another in life and work.
03 Tension has a degree - use interest to FM life
Go all out, and take occasional breaths. Although in the years of scientific research life, Li Xin is mostly full and happy, the pressure of staying in the laboratory for a long time will quietly grow. "Stress is constant, and the most important thing is to find the right way to vent." Li Xin said in the face of pressure. Because he is in it, Li Xin has a deep resonance with the pressure of scientific researchers, but the pressure has not stopped its progress.
In terms of decompression, Li Xin will empty his nervous brain through aerobic exercise, and will also find spiritual comfort in books, but his favorite is to cook dishes to please the body and mind. "'Make a good meal' is my special way of decompressing." Li Xin concentrates when cooking, injects all his troubles and sorrows into the dishes, and adjusts his life to his favorite taste.
Cooking is like a flavoring agent, turning the boring and tedious scientific research life into a wonderful and colorful. "I am a relatively extroverted scientific researcher, not very bored, learning to create happiness for myself has painted a heavy stroke on my life." Li Xin followed us with a smile. At the same time, for many students who are breathless under the pressure of scientific research, Li Xin suggests that each student should find a suitable way to decompress, use a healthy way to relieve stress and relax.
"Now I run with perseverance and hard work, but I want to live up to my dreams." From undergraduate to doctoral level, Li Xin has been constantly pursuing himself. For the future, Li Xin said that he will continue the direction of his previous research and continue to take root in the field of work at this stage, shaping Huawei's world-class influence on the development of the global industry.
Recalling his life in Zhongnan, Li Xin felt a lot of emotions. Since entering Central South University in 2010 as a freshman, Li Xin has described "Zhongnan" as a fertile soil for his roots, and his feelings for this land are extremely deep. So much so that in my study abroad, I often recall the bright moonlight on the Guanyun Pond and miss the evening breeze next to the Jade Belt River...
Along the way, Li Xin has always kept the gentle qualities of "altruism, gratitude, modesty, positivity and tenacity" in mind, and the unity of knowledge and action. "First of all, we must have enough understanding of ourselves, and then have a clear positioning." With the original intention of 'altruism', we should serve the country, serve the society and serve the people. This is the most essential starting point. The "altruistic heart" in Li Xin's mouth is the kind heart that cares for others, that is, the heart that does its best for others in life.
