Sprite x Fila Grant Hill 1
Recently, sports brand FILA launched the FILA Grant Hill x Sprite, a joint edition of NBA star Grant Hill and Sprite.
In October 2018, Hill, who had recently been inducted into the Hall of Fame, signed a lifetime endorsement contract with FILA. This is also the second cooperation between the two sides – Hill spoke for FILA from 1997 to 2004.
In the 1990s, Hill was also a spokesperson for Sprite. According to reports, the joint series is modeled on Hill's first pair of signature shoes, Grant Hill 1, inspired by a 1995 advertising film.
FILA Grant Hill x Sprite features white, blue, green and gradient colour schemes in a fresh overall style with a translucent outsole and reflective detailing. The FILA logo is printed behind the outsole, and the Sprite logo appears in the heel.
Sprite x Fila Grant Hill 1 is now available for $140. Also on sale are co-branded basketball shorts.
ANTA KT7 destroys the "iceberg"
NBA star Clay Thompson's 7th-generation signature boots have released a new destructive version of the "Iceberg" color scheme.
At the end of September this year, the domestic sports brand ANTA officially released KT7, upgrading the midsole.
The KT7 "Iceberg" shoe is dominated by white, embellished with ice blue and black. The upper structure of the shoe is deconstructed and restructured, and is composed of imitation animal wool, velvet microfiber materials, velvet woven and other materials, combined with hand-woven belts, lateral support TPU and other splicing.
According to reports, the midsole of KT7 uses ANTA nitrogen technology, which reduces weight and improves the rebound rate; the heel adopts fluid bulletproof material, which plays a role in shock absorption and stability. Nylon carbon plates and special-shaped side walls extend from the midsole to the heel, and the carbon plate length has also increased compared to the previous generation KT6.
It is reported that the destructive version of anTA KT7 "Iceberg" has previously been listed and is expected to return to sale on November 1, with a retail price of 1099 yuan.
Reebok Kamikaze II OG
Sports brand Reebok recently released a first-year replica of the "Rain Man" Sean Kemp basketball shoe - Reebok Kamikaze II OG.
Sean Kemp was an active NBA star in the 1990s, and playing for the Seattle SuperSonics at the time, he was known for his dunks and dominance on the inside.
Kemp first wore this Reebok Kamikaze II in 1995, and the replica version is equipped with Reebok's nest cushioning technology, and the shoe body is composed of three main colors of white, black and dark green, which is the color of the supersonic appearance of that year.
