author:Water wheel driver

Once upon a time, at the foot of the North Mountain, there was an old man named Yu Gong, who was more than ninety years old, but his body was still strong, and he went up the mountain every day to cut wood.

There were two big mountains in front of his house, one was Taihang Mountain and the other was Wangwu Mountain. Because these two mountains are not conducive to the travel of villagers, the people in the village have to take a long detour to enter and leave the village, which is very inconvenient.

Therefore, Yu Gong gathered the whole village together and proposed, "These two mountains hinder our travel, so let's move away!" "Everyone agrees with the foolish man's words. But Yu Gong's wife asked, "Let's not talk about whether the mountains can be removed, and where should so many stones and dirt be placed?" ″

"Let's pile it up on the Bohai Sea." A kid proposed. Everybody listen, OK, this not only fills the sea, but also removes the mountains, isn't it the best of both worlds!

After the consensus, the Yugong family came to the bottom of the mountain, began to knock stones, dig up dirt, and loaded these things with dustpans and bamboo baskets and transported them to the Bohai Sea. The villagers saw it and came to help, and everyone worked together to move the mountain.

An old man, known as the "Wise Sorcerer," laughed at the whimsy of the fools. But Yu Gong said to Zhi Shuo, "Even if I die, I still have descendants, and my children and grandchildren will be exhausted, but the mountains will not increase again, and the lower and lower they are dug, how can they not be moved?" Zhi Shuo was dumbfounded after hearing this.

One day, a god holding a snake-shaped crutch saw the actions of the Yugong family and the villagers, and was very touched, so he went to report the matter to the Jade Emperor. The Jade Emperor was also touched by The Spirit of Perseverance of the Foolish Duke. Therefore, the Jade Emperor sent two Great Immortals to help Yu Gong remove the two mountains. One was placed in Shuodong and one in Yongnan.

Since then, there is no barrier from the mountain, everyone is easy to enter and exit, there is no need to take a detour around the mountain, and the wish of the fool has also been realized!
