According to the number of compulsory insurance, Tesla Model Y sold 14,378 units in China in January, down 12.84% year-on-year and 50.83% month-on-month; Model 3 sold 12,829 units, up 311.98% year-on-year and 3.09% month-on-month.
But in the United States, Tesla Model Y has been sold out this quarter, that is, sales have exhausted capacity, and the Model Y that is ordered now will not be delivered until April.
This domestic price adjustment may help Tesla increase certain profits. However, now that Model 3 and Model Y are about to be upgraded, the Shanghai plant may partially stop production and upgrade the production line, which will also have an impact on domestic deliveries.
