In the Houston Rockets, there is no more polarizing player than guard Kevin Porter. Discussions about Porter tend to have two extremes. Either he's a true starting point guard with star potential, or he's someone the Rockets should throw out at every opportunity.
If Kevin Porter, Jaylen Green and Alperon Shenjing are talented players, only two can be long-term core players for the Rockets. Because none of them are defensive players, plus they are prone to mistakes and require a lot of possession.
