Tesla's existing charging outlets will soon be opened to non-Tesla owners

IT House January 23 news, Tesla's first combined charging system (CCS) compatible charging pile is about to open, the charging pile may be called Magic Docks after the launch, located near the Tesla design studio in California Hawthorne station is expected to become the first additional charging network. IT House learned that Tesla announced last November that it would open Tesla electric vehicle charging connector design to the world, and invited charging network operators and car manufacturers to adopt Tesla charging connectors and charging interfaces on their charging equipment and vehicles, which we call the North American Charging Standard (NACS).

NACS is the most common charging standard in North America: there are twice as many vehicles using NACS as there are CCS vehicles, and there are 60% more stations in Tesla's Supercharging network than all CCS charging stations combined.
